Finding good games on Steam can be tough if you don’t use any tools to help. With so many new titles released every month on the popular platform, it’s hard to know where to start.
It’s hard to argue with free, particularly when it’s a game people already enjoy. The Perfect Tower 2 fits the bill perfectly.
Steam’s Latest Free Game Is A Hit
It’s Sitting At Very Positive Reviews
The Perfect Tower 2 blends several game types, most notably tower defense. Players will construct and develop a town, participate in quick, Mario Party-like minigames, and gradually improve their base with automated systems.
Essentially, this game feels like a mobile game, but the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam prove it’s something special. Players love that The Perfect Tower II does a fantastic job with its core ideas, and it offers a lot of different ways to play. Plus, because it’s available on devices like the Steam Deck, you can enjoy it for quick breaks or long gaming sessions.
As a fan, I’m really excited about how much content there is! There are 15 different regions to explore across five totally different ways to play – whether you want a quick session, a long grind, or something more relaxed. Plus, you unlock cool stuff like character customization options and hidden secrets as you go. From what I’ve heard, it’s a game that truly delivers on its promises – exactly what you’d expect, and that’s awesome!
Perfect Tower 2 Is Hard To Put Down
You Can Pretty Much Play It Whenever
What really makes The Perfect Tower 2 stand out from other base-building games is its focus on engaging minigames. A lot of these types of games automate everything, and while this game has some automation, I appreciate that it also lets you actively play. Since Cookie Clicker became popular, people have been searching for a similar experience, but very few games have truly captured that same satisfying feeling.
Beyond the extensive content already in The Perfect Tower 2, the developers plan to add modding support. While there’s no release date yet, a Steam page is available for the modding tools. It promises a lot of possibilities, letting players add new modules, areas, buildings, and even replace existing textures, music, and models within the game.
If you’re stuck trying to find a new game on Steam, check out The Perfect Tower 2. Plus, the developers at Fire Sword Studios have built a community around the game and are letting players help shape its future.
