
Allison Holker is dancing into a new chapter.
Allison Holker, known from So You Think You Can Dance and widow of dancer Stephen “tWitch” Boss (who passed away in 2022), announced her engagement to tech executive Adam Edmunds. The couple began dating in September 2024.
“We’re ENGAGED!” she wrote on Instagram Feb. 12. “It was the most romantic night of my life!”
Holker shared that Edmunds proposed to her at a party celebrating her 38th birthday on February 6th.
He surprised me with a birthday party, and then shocked both me and our guests by proposing right there! It was a magical night, and he clearly put a lot of thought into making it perfect.
Former Dancing With the Stars contestant and father of Weslie (17), Maddox (9), and Zaia (5) celebrated his engagement with loved ones. He proposed on a bed of red rose petals, and the party featured a live performance by Clinton Kane, who sang the couple’s song, “I Guess I’m in Love.”

Edmunds has brought some much-needed joy to Holker’s life, especially after the tragic loss of her husband, Boss, who was a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show starting in 2012 and sadly passed away in 2022.
Although dealing with her husband’s death has been difficult, Holker has consistently celebrated his life and memory. To commemorate the third anniversary of his passing in December, she posted a touching video montage of them dancing and heartwarming photos of their family together.
She shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying they will always treasure the joyful memories they shared – the laughter, creativity, and dancing. She also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and support received, saying it meant everything to her and her children. She had seen many touching posts leading up to this special day.

In August 2023, Allison posted her first dance video since the passing of Stephen. She and her daughter, Weslie, shared a TikTok featuring a dance to a remix of the song “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie Titanic.

In May 2023, Allison attended the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with her children, Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.

In November 2022, Stephen shared on Instagram how grateful he was for his family, health, love, and life. He sent warm wishes and love from his family to his followers, using the hashtags #bossfamily and #turkeyday.

In June 2022, Stephen posted a heartfelt Father’s Day message on Instagram. He shared that being a dad to his three children is the best thing that’s ever happened to him, and expressed his love and appreciation for all fathers and father figures. He wished everyone a day filled with love! #fathersday

He posted on Instagram, wishing his son a happy birthday. He expressed amazement at how quickly his ‘little prince,’ Boss, had grown up, turning six years old. He marvels at how tall, smart, and independent his son has become. He shared how proud he is of the joy his son brings to others, and how being a father to him is teaching him to be a better person – just as he hopes he’s teaching his son. He described it as a wonderful, reciprocal relationship.

In November 2019, Allison, who was 40 weeks pregnant and expecting her daughter Zaia, shared a video of herself dancing with her dog, Boss.

Oh my gosh, I was there! I saw them, Brad and Angelina, with their adorable kids Weslie and Maddox, at the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil premiere! It was seriously the best night ever, seeing them all together. I couldn’t believe my eyes!
