Steve Aoki and Sasha Aoki are amped up about their new roles.

Approximately half a year following the announcement that they were expecting their first child together, which occurred in July 2024, the married duo, both graduates of DJ and Columbia University, delighted everyone by revealing the birth of their son named Rocky Aoki.

On July 25, they shared on Instagram a picture of Rocky77, their newly born baby, along with the caption: ‘He’s here! We’re head over heels for our little one already.’

Steve and Sasha also noted just how significant their son’s birthday truly is for them.

They mentioned how extraordinary it was that their son’s birthday fell on the same date as their wedding anniversary. “An unexpected event, he chose to make his entrance on his own terms, starting a new story right away,” they said. “Here’s to the exciting journey ahead!

In January, a 47-year-old made their pregnancy announcement during a show in Dubai, inviting Sasha onto the stage to share the “unique occasion” where they disclosed the gender of their upcoming child.

In a confirming tone, Steve said, “It’s a baby boy!” Excitedly, he shared the news, “We now have a precious little boy!” Later, he expressed his joy by posting on social media, “Our wonderful surprise is undoubtedly ‘the most significant cake’ I’ve ever celebrated in my life.

The unexpected disclosure during Steve and Sasha’s performance shouldn’t catch anyone off guard, given that the seasoned DJ has earlier shared insights into the significance of his fervor.

In 2022, he expressed to Billboard that his passion for music remains unquenched. He stated that with music, there’s no stronger source of energy or more intense rush than performing your songs in front of a crowd that knows your work, everyone just being so energetic and excited. In essence, there’s nothing quite as satisfying as that experience.
