Steven Spielberg’s Latest Classic Is Finally Back on Streaming (And It Has a Perfect Paul Dano Performance)

Paul Dano has been getting a lot of attention recently, after Quentin Tarantino made some harsh comments about him on a podcast. But the reaction to Tarantino’s words has been overwhelmingly positive for Dano, with fans and industry professionals alike showing their support. And now, one of his most acclaimed roles is available to stream again – it’s in a beloved film by Steven Spielberg, widely considered one of the best directors working today.

Steven Spielberg’s latest film, The Fablemans, is a deeply personal story inspired by his own childhood and family life. Released a couple of years ago, it received seven Academy Award nominations and is quickly becoming recognized as one of Spielberg’s best works. While it hasn’t been available on major streaming platforms recently, that changed on Thursday when it became available on Peacock.

Peacock now offers another fantastic film by Spielberg, and it’s a great choice for fans of Paul Dano. He plays Burt Fabelman, the family’s father, who is dealing with difficult truths about his marriage while also trying to support his son’s artistic talents.

I was completely blown away by Paul Dano’s performance – it’s so nuanced and complex. Honestly, I think it’s up there with his incredible work in There Will Be Blood and Love & Mercy. As a big fan of his, I immediately added this to my watchlist, and I think other fans should too!

What’s New on Peacock This Month?

I’m so excited to see that The Fabelmans is now streaming on Peacock! It’s a great addition, especially with everything else they’ve been adding lately. They just put The Croods: A New Age – which is seriously a fun movie everyone should check out – on there yesterday, and they’ve added tons of other new stuff this month too!
