Storm Reid Shares Hope for Zendaya Ahead of Tom Holland Wedding

Storm Reid’s relationship with Zendaya is absolutely marvelous.

Actually, Storm explains that her older on-screen sister from Euphoria has a comparable role in their personal lives-and that’s why Storm is so thrilled for Zendaya as her fiancé Tom Holland prepares to get married.

“I’d love to be a flower girl,” Storm jokingly told Francesca Amiker from TopMob News at Step Up’s 2025 Inspiration Awards on September 26th in Los Angeles. “I’m really hoping that happens, but mostly I’m just thrilled for her. She deserves everything wonderful when that time comes.”

Actually, Storm has followed Zendaya’s career and personal growth for a long time-even before they started acting together on HBO’s show as Gia and Rue.

“I’m not comfortable with the term ‘mentor’,” the 22-year-old confessed, then continued, “But if I *had* to name someone as a mentor, it would definitely be her. It’s not about what she’s accomplished, though. She’s been a role model for me ever since I was young. Shake It Up was my favorite show-I never missed an episode.”

“I believe it’s how she carries herself and interacts with life,” Storm explained. “And she truly cares for me as a person. It’s not just about our characters, Rue and Gia; it’s about Storm and Zendaya as individuals. I deeply value having her around, and I’m certain she’ll always be like a sister to me.”

And when the A Wrinkle in Time star needs advice or a second opinion, it’s Zendaya she turns to. 

Honestly, as someone who follows these things, I was so touched hearing about this! My client is absolutely thrilled, and so am I. As he told me, “I’m really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time.” It’s just wonderful to see a genuine connection like theirs. He also shared, “The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it’s really beautiful,” and I couldn’t agree more. It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do – celebrating real love is the best part of the job! The 47-year-old is clearly overjoyed, and it’s contagious. You can just feel the happiness! It’s a beautiful thing.

“It’s about how she presents herself,” Storm explained. “Simply having self-assurance and embracing your true self, and being comfortable with who you are. She has always been completely and honestly herself, and witnessing that up close really motivates me to do the same.”

Although Storm could be involved in Zendaya’s wedding, it’s doubtful that the Spider-Man actors will reveal any personal information to the public.

The couple-who got engaged in December-have always kept their relationship private, so Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach jokingly told TopMob News on September 1st that the former Disney Channel star will be a “secret bride.”

Despite everything, Law was thrilled for his client. “I’m so happy for them because they’ve been in love with each other for a long time,” the 47-year-old shared enthusiastically. “It’s wonderful that everyone could witness and enjoy their love story.”

Zendaya and Tom Holland, engaged since December 2024, are taking their time with wedding planning.

“I’m taking a break until 2026,” Zendaya’s stylist of many years, Law Roach, playfully told TopMob News in April 2025 when asked about Zendaya’s future plans.

A few months after that, he told TopMob at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards that they hadn’t even begun the process yet. He clarified, “Zendaya is currently involved with numerous film projects. She’s presently filming the newest installment of Dune, which keeps her busy. Because of all these commitments, they weren’t in a rush. They had plenty of time.”

There will likely be dresses – one for the ceremony, another for the party, and possibly others for related events. (However, don’t be surprised if there’s also a beautiful outfit that includes pants somewhere in the plans.)

However, Law doesn’t anticipate a detailed, glamorous account of how everything unfolded, suggesting that “nobody will ever see” her wedding attire.

Zendaya and Tom are “making a real effort to keep things private,” said Project Runway judge, on a May episode of Complex‘s Please Explain. “You won’t see a Vogue feature or wedding photos, and anyone she invites will understand and respect their privacy. So, it will be a stunning dress that remains unseen by the public.”

When it comes to fashion, Zendaya has a few go-to designers. A small selection of her favorites includes Nicolas Ghesquière of Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors, along with brands like Versace, Valentino, and Tom Ford.

Oh my gosh, if Tom and Zendaya *do* get married, it’s going to be absolutely insane! I mean, seriously, it has the potential to be the most star-studded wedding *ever* if they decide to go all out. I’m already imagining the guest list… it’s going to be huge!

Besides her parents and siblings (Zendaya has three half-sisters and two half-brothers from her father’s side, and Tom has three younger brothers), the wedding guest list might include friends like Timothée Chalamet, Bella Thorne and Hunter Schafer. The groom is also good friends with Jacob Batalon, who is known for playing Ned, Peter Parker’s best friend, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Timothée described his Dune costar as someone he’s grown very close to. He told Variety in 2022, “She’s really become a sister.” He added, “I’m so grateful to have her as a partner, a sister, and a friend.”

Storm Reid, known for her role as Zendaya’s sister in Euphoria, shared with People that she’d be thrilled to be a flower girl at the wedding. However, she also expressed, “whenever it happens, I’m incredibly happy for her, and I’ll be there to offer my support.”

Oh my gosh, you guys, there’s going to be dancing, *of course*! But get this – Holland just became friends with Benson Boone! And the best part? He’s actually free on the day of the event, whenever that magical day is! I’m seriously losing it right now, this is going to be incredible!

Oh my gosh, when TopMob News asked him at the 2025 American Music Awards in May if he’d perform for the couple, he was *immediately* on board! He said, “Immediate yes, of course, of course,” and honestly, I nearly fainted! He added, “I’m not gonna pass that over,” which basically means he’d do *anything* for them! I’m so excited, I can’t even! It’s the “Slow It Down” singer, and he’s going to perform! It’s a dream come true!

And, really, will the marriage even be legal if the newlyweds don’t engage in a lip sync battle?

The wedding bands the couple chooses will likely look great with Zendaya’s engagement ring, which seems to be the 5.02-carat East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring by British jeweler Jessica McCormack. According to the jeweler’s website, the ring features a Georgian-style setting made with 18-karat white and yellow gold.

I was so thrilled to read on January 2025 in a Patreon post by Tom’s dad, the hilarious Dominic Holland, that Tom had actually proposed! He really did everything right – he spoke to her father beforehand and got his blessing. Tom had thought of absolutely everything… the perfect timing, location, exactly what he wanted to say, even what to wear… it was all so carefully planned!

Zendaya and Tom have the freedom to get married in many places, but getting married in England-where the groom is from-or somewhere nearby sounds like a great idea, doesn’t it?
