Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios recently showed off a new trailer for their upcoming game, Stranger Than Heaven, during the Xbox Partner Preview. The trailer, called the Five Eras Reveal Trailer, highlights how the game’s story will unfold across five different time periods and cities. You can watch it below.
In the game Stranger Than Heaven, players will experience a story that spans several decades, jumping between the years 1915, 1929, 1943, 1951, and 1965. Because of these significant time jumps and the exploration of multiple cities, the main character is expected to evolve and change throughout the game.
The game’s environments and atmosphere will change dramatically depending on the time period and city you visit. Even something as basic as walking down the street will feel different in each era. Combat will always be intense, but the weapons and tools available to players will vary based on the time and location. The trailer showcases all this action with a lively jazz soundtrack, creating a sense of exciting chaos.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios announced they will share more information about the game during a special Xbox showcase called “Stranger Than Heaven” on May 6th.
The atmospheric adventure game Stranger Than Heaven is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Although a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet, a recent trailer suggests it will be available “soon.”
