Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown Accused Co-Star David Harbour of ‘Harassment’

For the last two years, the creators have been preparing to release a grand, record-breaking conclusion to their popular sci-fi series. Initial announcements about the release, its long length, and the creators’ excitement led many to believe nothing could diminish the impact of this finale.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things begins streaming later this month, with episodes released in three parts. Unfortunately, recent reports from The Daily Mail indicate trouble for the show. Actress Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly accused her co-star, David Harbour, of harassment.

Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour have both been with the show since it began in 2016. Brown stars as Eleven, who is often considered the main character, and Harbour plays Jim Hopper, who later becomes Eleven’s adoptive father.

According to recent reports, Millie Bobby Brown filed a detailed complaint about David Harbour before filming for the fifth season of the show began in January 2024. A source says the complaint involved accusations of harassment and bullying, and was extensive – lasting ‘pages and pages.’ An investigation into the claims reportedly lasted several months.

Although the actor wasn’t accused of any sexual misconduct in the complaint, the actress reported experiencing bullying and harassment. After she made this report, which prompted an internal review, she filmed the final episode of the series with someone there to support her.

The actor first discussed his connection with Millie Brown in 2021 while on the podcast That Scene with Dan Patrick. He explained that he and Millie have always shared a unique bond, as he’d known her since she was very young, before she became famous.

He expressed strong concern for her well-being, worrying about the challenges she faces with fame. This comes shortly after his split from singer Lily Allen, who recently hinted at his infidelity in her song, “West End Girl.”

The actors haven’t responded to the claims, and their representatives hadn’t confirmed the story when this was published.
