Remember him fighting that Demogorgon with a sword in Season 4? It was intense! Because of everything he’s endured, a lot of fans, myself included, are worried he might not make it through the final season. It just feels like, after all that, he could be the one who doesn’t survive.

Jim is undoubtedly a selfless person who would give his life for others. Considering the increasing danger and exciting conclusion of the current season, it seems likely he will make the ultimate sacrifice to save either Eleven or Joyce, solidifying his place as a hero of Hawkins.

Given Jim’s history of risking his life to protect the people of Hawkins – a town he’s served as a police officer for years – some viewers anticipate he might die. However, a positive outcome for his character in Season 5 would be unexpected, yet satisfying, considering the prevailing expectation of his demise.
