Stranger Things: The Complete Series collection confirms release date – and is available to pre-order now

Get ready to revisit Hawkins! The entire Stranger Things series will soon be available on Blu-ray and 4K UHD.

You can now pre-order the complete Stranger Things series on both physical disc and digital formats. The full set will be released on July 27th in the UK, and July 28th in the US and Canada. It will be available at most major retailers, both in stores and online.

The Special and Deluxe editions will include extra features like funny outtakes, interviews with the people who made the film, and a look behind the scenes.

The Deluxe edition comes with brand-new artwork and a lot of bonus content, including a 148-page booklet, special art cards, a Hellfire Club patch, and double-sided posters for every season.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things premiered earlier this year, concluding the show’s story. While many enjoyed the ending, some fans felt the finale wrapped up Vecna’s (Jamie Campbell Bower) storyline too quickly and left Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) fate somewhat uncertain.

The creators of the show, the Duffer Brothers, explained to Variety that Eleven symbolizes the wonder of being a child. They felt that for their characters to mature, this sense of magic needed to disappear from their hometown of Hawkins.

We never considered a storyline where Eleven was easily found in the basement. The ending couldn’t be that straightforward. We wanted something more complex, yet still hopeful and emotionally resonant – a bittersweet conclusion, not a simple resolution.

The show’s final episode was nearly lost in the buzz surrounding a strange online conspiracy theory called “Conformity Gate.” This theory suggested that a ninth episode was secretly being prepared for release.

That rumored extra episode didn’t happen, but fans did get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of season 5 in a documentary.

With the Blu-ray release and the new show, Tales From ’85, on the way, fans will have plenty of opportunities to revisit the story!
