Starting from August 5th, Capcom’s “Street Fighter 6” enters its third year with the addition of a long-time franchise favorite, Sagat. Take a look at his newest trailer right here below.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but reminisce about the legendary Sagat from the Street Fighter universe. Known for his unique Muay Thai fighting style, he was the formidable final boss in the original Street Fighter and a member of M. Bison’s Shadaloo crew in Street Fighter 2. His future appearances are shrouded in mystery, but I eagerly await updates to uncover any changes he might have undergone. So, keep your eyes peeled for upcoming videos that promise to shed more light on this iconic character.
Apart from being a playable character, he also excels as a Master in World Tour. In this journey, players find themselves in Thailand. Following an encounter with a spectral tiger, they come across the man who is carrying a massive log. He swiftly smashes it to pieces. Just like other Masters, players can learn from him and unveil his techniques for combating AI opponents and other player avatars.
Following Sagat, Character Viper is set to join the lineup this coming Fall. Alex joins next in early Spring 2026, while Ingrid concludes the Year 3 Pass in late Spring 2026.
