Street Fighter 6’s New Battle HUD Setting on PS5, PS4 Is So Simple Yet So Fun

Street Fighter 6 is getting even more customizable! Capcom just announced a new feature letting players personalize the Battle HUD, and it’s coming next week on December 16th.

It’s a simple but enjoyable feature: you can customize the in-game interface to look like it’s from an older version of the game.

As a huge Street Fighter fan, I’m so excited to hear that when the game launches, it’ll include some of my all-time favorites! We’re talking Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, Ultra Street Fighter 4, and even Street Fighter 5 Championship Edition. That’s an amazing lineup to start with!

We think the Ultra Street Fighter 4 version, with its unique graffiti-style font, looks especially good.

However, there’s a catch: you’ll need to purchase all of these Heads-Up Displays (HUDs) from the in-game store. They’ll likely be available using Drive Tickets, and we expect you’ll also be able to buy them with Fighter Coins, which can be purchased with real money.

We’re making the SimSim design available to everyone for free. It’s based on the CPU robot you encounter in the Battle Hub, which is a nice bonus.

We’d really enjoy seeing classic game interfaces added to the game, as long as they aren’t too expensive to unlock. We hope Capcom continues to add more options like these in the future.
