As a huge Street Fighter fan, I was completely blown away at The Game Awards! The cast of the new movie made a surprise appearance and dropped the very first trailer! It was amazing to finally see the movie coming to life, and even better, we got a first look at all 17 of the iconic characters – seriously, every single one! I’m so hyped!
Ryu and Ken, iconic fighters from the Street Fighter series, team up again after Chun-Li asks for their help in the World Warrior Tournament. During the competition, they uncover a dangerous plot and are forced to battle not only their opponents but also their own histories – a conflict that could lead to their downfall.
The film’s stars were present, including Noah Centineo as Ken, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Joe Anoai (Roman Reigns) as Akuma, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Andrew Schulz as Dan, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Mel Jarson as Cammy, and Jason Momoa as Blanka, who also served as a producer.
