Strumon Studio unveils their latest project, titled “Daimonic First-person Slasher” – Daimon Blades. This exciting new game takes place within the universe of E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy. The Early Access release for PC through Steam is scheduled for September 3rd.
Here is an overview of the game, via Streumon Studio:
In a game known as “Daimon Blades,” you’ll be wielding steel against sin, leading either solo or with a team of four, all dressed in armor. Your mission is to lead the legions birthed from the abyssal chaos to their ultimate doom. You’ll be part of The Secreta, a secretive order of warrior monks dedicated to containing the increasing daimonic invasions. Notably, “Daimon Blades” takes place in the universe initially introduced in Streumon’s hit game, “E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy.
In this game set in the Daimon Realms, players must gather resources, create items, and develop their champions for battling daimons into formidable demon-slayers, transforming them into fearsome hellspawn executors. As they journey through, they’ll encounter a ruthless and constantly evolving menagerie of deformed Daimons born from the chaos, each utilizing unique strategies that necessitate unwavering vigilance and flexibility. Wield your weapon of devastation – be it a flamethrower sword, a blood-streaked battle axe, or a hammer that reduces bone to powder – and inscribe your legacy across the changing dimensions, as pounding metal melodies fuel your rampage.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at Streumon’s knack for creating intense, gritty universes. Emerging from the modding scene of the early 2000s, they made their commercial debut with “E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy,” a million-selling cyberpunk RPG shooter that swiftly amassed a devoted fanbase. The studio then left its indelible mark on the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000, developing “Space Hulk: Deathwing” and “Necromunda: Hired Gun.
Presently, Studio Streumon is once again standing on its own as both developer and publisher of the game ‘Daimon Blades’. This decision was made in light of a strategic step to regain complete control over the studio, a move that seems fitting given the current trend of acquisitions and mergers. This renewed autonomy underscores the team’s strong dedication to maintaining creative control and upholding quality. With ‘Daimon Blades’, Studio Streumon is creating a daring new cooperative slasher, one that is influenced by past experiences and fueled by an unyielding vision.
