The Strictly Come Dancing 2025 final is incredibly emotional, with George Clarke’s showdance bringing everyone to tears.
The YouTuber and their professional dance partner, Alexis Warr, impressed the judges and audience with their performance to The Killers’ song, ‘Human.’ This is Warr’s first season on the show, and she’s been a standout.
Tess Daly said the performance was stunning, and Claudia Winkleman found it deeply touching. Alexis was clearly emotional while waiting to hear what the judges thought, and their feedback didn’t disappoint.
Judge Motsi Mabuse loved their performance, calling it both beautiful and stunning. She also highlighted the strong connection between the two performers.
Shirley Ballas described George as “zero to hero”, referencing his growth across the weeks.
“That was a truly beautiful dance, absolutely terrific,” she went on. “It really conveyed a feeling,” she added, echoing Motsi’s earlier point about how powerful and emotional dancing can be.
Anton Du Beke agreed, saying the performance perfectly captured the joy and emotion of dancing, and that he was incredibly proud of the couple.
Even Craig Revel Horwood, who started with some helpful feedback, ended up praising George, noting his strong performance and captivating stage presence.
“Now you are in it,” he declared, going on to celebrate his “fantastically achieved” lifts.
“And it showed true emotion, congratulations,” he added.

But it wasn’t just the judges and the studio audience who couldn’t get enough.
Viewers at home were also bowled over by the performance.
Honestly, seeing George perform just broke my heart – the whole country feels it, I think! One viewer put it perfectly: that showdance was absolutely incredible from beginning to end, a solid 10/10. And it’s amazing to see how much Alexis has brought George out of his shell – she really deserves the credit for that!
Another comment read: “That Showdance, I’m sobbing. George Clarke, we are all so proud of you.”
Someone shared a heartfelt reaction, saying they were deeply moved and still crying. They described the relationship between George and Alexis as incredibly special and expressed a lot of love for both of them.
George is one of three finalists – along with Amber Davies and Karen Carney – and they’ve each performed three routines. Now, it’s up to the public to vote for their favorite!
But who will get their hands on the Glitterball trophy? Not long now….
