Strictly partners Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkova ‘raise eyebrows’ at TRIC Awards

For six months, they danced very close, a common occurrence among partners on Strictly Come Dancing. However, it’s typically the case that these dance partners won’t stay friends following the end of the BBC program. In fact, they usually don’t communicate with each other again after that.

But when it comes to Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkova, it appears to be the opposite.

Last night at the TRIC Awards in London, their deep camaraderie was evident as the ex-Strictly dance partners, who advanced to the quarterfinals in 2021, couldn’t help but express their admiration for each other nonstop.

‘We were all like, what is he doing? It was cringe and quite baffling.

When he said, “Nadia is here,” everyone at my table looked puzzled and it definitely caused quite a surprise.

After leaving the stage, he spent the entire period posing for selfies with Nadia and other notable figures. The situation seemed quite peculiar.

Four years after the TV contest, Dan continues to maintain a strong friendship with the Ukrainian dancer. They often socialize together and post photos of their hangouts on Instagram.

He encountered his spouse Sarah at the University of Sheffield, and he himself admitted that she tends to shy away from public attention. In 2021, he disclosed, ‘She has no interest in social media platforms. It’s straightforward. She possesses more wisdom than I do.’
