Studio TRIGGER, known for popular anime like *Cyberpunk: Edgerunners*, *Kill la Kill*, and *Delicious in Dungeon*, has seen a surge in popularity thanks to the unexpected return of one of its series. Following the conclusion of the first season, TRIGGER quickly announced that the anime will be back for more, and fans are hoping the next season arrives sooner than the long wait after its initial revival.
The anime *New Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt* originally aired in 2010 and recently returned after more than ten years. After the first season of the revival finished (which is actually the second season overall), the studio TRIGGER announced that Stocking and Panty will be back for more. Given how the first season wrapped up, it’s safe to assume we’ll be meeting a whole new cast of characters. While details are still under wraps, TRIGGER is once again building on the dystopian world CD Projekt Red created with *Cyberpunk 2077*. It’s funny, but the team made it very clear – David won’t be returning for the second season.
