Crimson Desert is launching in about six months, with a planned release date of March 19th – you’ll want to remember that date!
IGN recently got a first look at some gameplay from the upcoming RPG, and it looks amazing. The footage features PlayStation button controls, which suggests it might be the PS5 version, though it could also be the PC version played with a DualSense controller. We’re hoping it’s the PS5 experience!
The main challenge involves fighting a mechanical dragon called the Golden Star, and it seems incredibly enjoyable.

You have a lot of different weapons and abilities to choose from. While the core combat is fairly simple and relies on learning enemy patterns, the boss characters are incredibly detailed and well-designed.
What really stands out is how beautifully the medieval fantasy and steampunk elements are combined – they fit together seamlessly.
