SuiHub Global Accelerator launches with $200K, expert support in MENA

As a seasoned crypto investor with roots in the MENA region and a keen interest in blockchain technology, this latest announcement from SuiHub Global Accelerator Program has me rather excited. With my years of experience in navigating the volatile yet lucrative world of cryptocurrencies, I’ve learned that opportunities like these are golden tickets to potential success.

Startups developing on the Sui blockchain stand to gain advantages from the recently initiated SuiHub Global Accelerator Program. The Sui Foundation in collaboration with its partners offers financial aid of up to $200,000, along with technical and promotional assistance, to teams that have already built a minimum viable product without tokens.

The organizers of our 12-week accelerator initiative seek innovative projects that can be effectively utilized in the real world and have potential for expansion, which align well with the functionalities of the Sui blockchain. Funding will be provided as you reach specified stages of development. Upon acceptance into the program, SuiHub will acquire an equity share in your project.

Concentrating on MENA

SuiHub’s goal is to establish a welcoming environment for developers working on the Sui platform, specifically within the regions of the Middle East and North Africa. This initiative is a collaboration between Sui and Ghaf Group, a Dubai-based investment company that focuses on the Web3 sector.

At Ghaf Studios, we’ll offer strategic assistance to our accelerator program participants in areas like fundraising, marketing, and token economics. This was shared by Kostas Chalkias, the co-founder and chief cryptographer at Mysten Labs, during an interview with CryptoMoon. In simpler terms, Ghaf Studios will help those in the accelerator program develop strategies for these crucial aspects of their operations.

“The launch of our accelerator program marks a pivotal step in empowering the next wave of innovators. At SuiHub, we are not just building projects; we are fostering a thriving ecosystem where groundbreaking ideas meet unparalleled mentorship and resources.”

Mysten Labs is the developer of the Sui network.

A collaborating entity in the accelerator program is Brinc, a venture capital and accelerator company based in Hong Kong, offering partnership assistance and business growth support. The token listing platform, CoinList, will conduct a token launch workshop with subsequent advice and offer access to its vast user base of 10 million individuals.

The application deadline for the program is Dec. 20.

Sui provides fast action

In a move spearheaded by Mysten Labs, the Sui network debuted in May 2023. This innovative platform offers impressive throughput and transaction speeds, making it highly efficient. By September 2024, it had amassed over 18 million active accounts and had handled an astounding total of approximately 4.58 billion transactions.

Up until May, Sui had the highest number of daily transactions among layer-1 blockchains, clocking in at 65 million. However, Aptos surpassed that record when it processed 115.4 million transactions in a single day.

Sui and Aptos employ the Move programming language, initially developed for Meta’s Diem digital currency initiative before it was open-sourced following its discontinuation.
