Aladdin X revealed the “Suika Game World” for both the Switch 2 and original Switch. This exciting new game is set to debut digitally this coming winter, with an initial timed exclusive release on these consoles.
From my gaming perspective, I’ve checked out the FAQ on the official site and here’s what I gather: The Switch 2 and regular Switch versions of this game aren’t vastly different, but the Switch 2 does offer GameShare support. Initially, it will only be available digitally, but there might be a physical edition coming to Japan later down the line. As for whether we’ll see it on smartphones, other consoles, or PC, those plans haven’t been solidified yet.
Here is an overview of the game, via Aladdin X:
The popular puzzle game makes a comeback in an interstellar setting! Match identical fruits to make them grow into larger ones and earn higher scores. Aim to drop the fruits towards the center of the alien planet to create as many massive watermelons (Suikas) as you can, and score extra points by activating new Super Evolution combinations. In addition, the Suika Game Planet on Nintendo Switch 2 offers an exclusive local four-player cooperative mode with GameShare for some friendly competition.
