Kim Rhodes is living the sweet life, in more ways than one.
In another phrasing: It was during the filming of the Disney Channel series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” that the star had Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse by her side. Even over a decade later, she still admires how these young actors, who were tweens at the time, set an example on the set while working with her.
In a special conversation with TopMob News, I shared my profound admiration for their understanding of their responsibilities towards everyone on that set. At just 11 years old, it felt unusual not to worry about getting into trouble. Yet, they swiftly grasped the reality that they were the only ones who couldn’t get dismissed. Consequently, whenever a situation called for it, they took charge.
In one instance, Dylan declined to make a joking remark about Kim’s weight during an episode, but it is important to note that this was not the only occasion when the twins defended someone on set. (The 56-year-old had previously spoken about this incident in November 2023.)
She mentioned, “I believe they likely wouldn’t recall this specific event, but it held great significance for me. It seems everyone has had a moment when they acted selflessly, instinctively doing what felt right to them. This action fostered an atmosphere where we all felt secure and proud to be ourselves.
Among those appearing are Suite Life fans, as Kim recognizes that there’s a generation of Disney Channel viewers who view her as a maternal figure. Consequently, she teamed up with M&M’S PB&J Packed Lunch Special, where starting on July 29, fans can obtain a free lunch packed with a personal note from Kim.
She expressed, “It’s significant for you to hold onto something that serves as a reminder of how proud I am of you.” She added, “Even if we haven’t met, you have a special place in my heart. This generation of adults is putting in so much effort and achieving great things. I wanted to give you a note written by me personally, something like, ‘Honey, you can do it.’
Currently, Kim is remotely supporting Cole and Dylan, along with co-stars Brenda Song and Ashley Tisdale. However, she made it clear that she’s always staying updated about their activities.
The former Supernatural actor mentioned that he didn’t strive to maintain a connection with them as he preferred not to impose himself upon them. He acknowledged that there were others with whom they remained close, and their relationship was genuine, heartwarming, and beautiful. However, he chose his own path while they followed theirs. Yet, he never lost sight of them, and they always bring a smile to his face.
As to what a reunion would look like?
Should I cross paths with Brenda, Ashley, Dylan, or Cole, I’d probably react with an unexpected outpouring of emotion, leading to a rather uncomfortable situation. I might embrace them for too long, and although they’d likely understand my sentiments, it would still feel awkward for both parties.
Alongside catching up with her fellow actors, she also shared her thoughts about potentially reprising her role as Carey Martin. If a revival or new installment of the “Suite Life” series were ever produced, similar to how “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “That’s So Raven” returned, Kim made it clear that she would be eager to participate in such an event.
In truth, she’s not only thinking about it, but she also has concepts in mind concerning the appearance of the hotel and where it would position Phil Lewis, the cherished hotel manager.
In a conversation with TopMob News, Kim expressed her belief that it would be amusing to revisit some of Mr. Mosby’s lessons since it appears he still needs to be present. She added that certain lessons taught by him in the past are now being used against him, and it’s fascinating because you can go back to the original episode where he made those statements, and now his words are coming back to haunt him.

Following his debut as the charming character Ethan Craft in the Hilary Duff-led comedy, Clayton Snyder temporarily paused his acting career to complete high school and attend Pepperdine University, where he participated in water polo. Although he made an appearance in a 2014 episode of NCIS, currently, his primary focus lies within his real estate career. However, when the topic arises, he doesn’t shy away from his past as a child actor. As he shared with TopMob News, “We’ve had clients who, halfway through showing them homes, say, ‘My wife and I just found out who you are, and we can’t believe it!'” This revelation brings him joy because he understands that their decision to work with him is not solely based on his past as a child star. Instead, they appreciate the duality of enjoying his celebrity status while recognizing the quality of his real estate services.
Following his popular portrayal of Lizzie’s friend-turned-boyfriend David “Gordo” Gordon in the cherished comedy, Adam Lamberg took on roles in movies titled “When Do We Eat?” and “Beautiful Loser”. As per his LinkedIn profile, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from UC Berkeley and pursued a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College. Interestingly, he was initially part of the Lizzie McGuire reboot, but he has since stepped away from acting.
In the final six episodes of Lizzie McGuire and the 2003 movie, Lalaine’s character Miranda Sanchez was absent due to filming for Disney Channel Original Movie You Wish! This absence seemed to impact her acting career as well, with an attempt at a music career failing to take off. A sequel series titled What’s Stevie Thinking? centered on Miranda’s younger sister never progressed beyond the pilot stage in 2007. That same year, she was arrested and charged with felony possession of meth, but after completing court-ordered rehab, the charge was removed from her record. Although she made a cameo appearance in Easy A in 2010, it’s easier to find Lalaine on Instagram than on either the big or small screen. However, she did have a film, Definition Please, released in 2020.
Following a run of 65 episodes as the cherished younger brother Matt in Lizzie McGuire, Jake Thomas has consistently landed roles, including stints on Disney’s Cory In the House and guest appearances on shows like ER, House, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and S.W.A.T.. He also starred alongside YouTuber Joey Graceffa in the web series Storytellers from 2013 to 2014. In 2018, he earned his degree in Screenwriting with a minor in Japanese Language from Cal State University, Northridge. On Instagram, he posts a blend of his personal photography and nostalgic pictures from his childhood acting career.
Following her debut lead role in the 2000 Disney Channel Original Movie “Rip Girls,” Camilla Belle momentarily stepped away from acting before reappearing in the 2006 remake of “When a Stranger Calls” and the 2008 blockbuster “10,000 BC”.
She had a brief romance with Joe Jonas, whom she met during the filming of the Jonas Brothers’ music video for “Lovebug,” from late-2008 to mid-2009. This relationship earned her a mention in Taylor Swift’s song “Better Than Revenge.”
Since then, she has primarily worked on independent projects, featuring in films such as “Open Road”, “Diablo” and the 2017 James Franco film “The Mad Whale”. More recently, she has made guest appearances on “Dollface” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime.
After finishing his role as Max, the youngest Russo sibling on “Wizards of Waverly Place” in 2012, Jake T. Austin swiftly moved on to a leading part on ABC Family’s (now Freeform) show, “The Fosters“. He played Jesus Foster for two seasons before leaving and being replaced by Noah Centineo. Following this, he took part in season 23 of “Dancing With the Stars”, becoming the first contestant to be eliminated. His voice was also used in the movies “The Emoji Movie” from 2017 and the thriller “Adverse“, released in 2020, which starred Mickey Rourke. Although he did not appear in the first season of the sequel to “Wizards of Waverly Place”, “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place“, fans are eagerly waiting for his potential return in the upcoming second season.
Simultaneously, David Henrie, who portrayed the eldest Russo sibling Justin, has taken a slightly different path since the show ended in 2012. Unlike other cast members, he wasn’t part of the sequel film “The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex”, but he did appear in movies like “Grown Ups 2” and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2”.
In April 2017, he married former Miss Delaware Maria Cahill. Their daughter, Pia Francesca Philomena Henrie, was born on March 19, 2019. Around the same time, it was announced that he and Maria were expecting a child, but there was an incident where he was arrested and charged at LAX due to allegations of carrying a loaded gun in the airport. After expressing remorse for the unintentional act, he received a sentence of two years probation and 20 days of community service.
Currently, David Henrie is a father of three and, along with Selena Gomez, is executive producing and starring in the new spin-off Disney+ series “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place”.
Following her role as Harper Finkle, Alex Russo’s BFF, in the show “The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex“, Jennifer Stone went on to appear in the 2014 Lifetime thriller “High School Possession” and play a character in Nickelodeon’s anthology series “Deadtime Stories“. In 2013, she was diagnosed with a type of diabetes known as latent autoimmune diabetes in adults, also called Type 1.5 diabetes. Her film “The In-Between” aimed to raise awareness about this condition.
Jennifer and Wizards costar David DeLuise both host the rewatch podcast Wizards of Waverly Pod.
Did you know that Mia Talerico was just 10 months old when she got cast as Charlie Duncan in the sitcom “Good Luck Charlie,” which premiered in April 2010? After the show ended in 2014, she joined the YouTube network Brat’s kids’ series “Mani” and portrayed Paige in 13 episodes. Additionally, Mia has her own YouTube channel where she enjoys making “unboxing” and toy review videos.
After the conclusion of “Good Luck Charlie,” Teddy Duncan, one of Charlie’s older siblings, took on a more mature role when Bridgit Mendler joined the second season of NBC comedy “Undateable” in 2015. She starred in two seasons of this sitcom before it was canceled. Since then, she has made appearances in two episodes of “Nashville,” the Netflix film “Father of the Year,” and a Netflix series alongside Dennis Quaid and Ashley Tisdale titled “Merry Happy Whatever.”
This talented actress, who also released two albums, pursued further education at USC in anthropology. In May 2018, she announced that she had started a graduate program at MIT, followed by a January 2019 announcement that she was studying at Harvard Law School. More recently, she disclosed that she and her engineer husband, Griffin Cleverly, adopted a 4-year-old son and launched their own tech startup, Northwood Space, which aims to construct ground satellite stations for transmitting and receiving data from space.
Since her co-stars from the Cheetah Girls, Raven-Symone and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, have continued to shine in acting roles and hosting opportunities after the end of the DCOM series in 2008, Kiely Williams’ career path has followed a slightly different route.
Following her part in The House Bunny in 2008, Kiely landed roles in Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale in 2010, Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, and Holla II in 2013. She tied the knot with Brandon “BJ” Cox in December 2016, with Sabrina Bryan serving as her bridesmaid. In 2017, she briefly reemerged in the public eye when she competed on an episode of Celebrity Family Feud, joining forces with Sabrina Bryan on the Girl Group team.
Following the broadcast of “Cheetah Girls: One World” in 2008, Sabrina Bryan took on the role of a correspondent for TopMob News during the eighth season of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2009 – three seasons after she had participated and was eliminated in sixth place. She revisited the dance floor as an All Star for season 15 in 2012, but once again found herself eliminated in sixth position, exactly five years from her initial elimination.
Subsequently, Bryan provided voice-overs for the Disney Channel animated series “Fish Hooks”, teamed up with Kiely Williams for a web series titled “Dinner With Friends” in 2011, and tied the knot with strategic accounts manager Jordan Lundberg on October 6, 2018, after nine years of dating. Now, she is reviving the nostalgia from Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOM) through her iHeartPodcast “Magical Rewind” in collaboration with Will Friedle.
As a devoted admirer looking back on my journey, let me share how I found my footing after starring in the beloved 1999 DCOM “Smart House.” This role paved the way for my regular appearances on the network, with stints in “The Luck of the Irish” (2001) and “A Ring of Endless Light” (2002). Stepping out of my comfort zone, I explored darker territories, featuring in horror films such as “Halloween: Resurrection,” “The Ring Two,” and “Final Destination 3.”
In 2010, I was fortunate enough to secure a recurring role as Ian Thomas on the popular series “Pretty Little Liars,” appearing in 16 episodes until 2014. I also had the privilege of joining the cast of the 2013 Jackie Robinson biopic “42” in a supporting part. My career continues to unfold, with recent roles focusing more on independent productions.
On a personal note, I tied the knot with Micol Duncan in 2004, but we chose to part ways in 2011. On New Year’s Day of 2012, Kristen McCullen and I announced our engagement. We officially became a couple later that year.
Between the years 1999 to 2004, Kirsten Storms became a beloved figure on Disney Channel, gracing screens in the Zenon trilogy, Johnny Tsunami, and providing the voice for Kim Possible. However, even during this period, she was already embarking on a more mature career path, joining NBC’s Days of Our Lives in 2000 for a four-year run that totaled 410 episodes.
Following an unsuccessful attempt to break into prime-time television with a role in the short-lived CBS baseball drama Clubhouse in 2004, she returned to daytime soap operas in 2005 as Maxie Jones on ABC’s General Hospital, where she remained until 2023, appearing in over 1,100 episodes.
In 2011, Storms dabbled in reality TV with a short-lived stint on the TopMob series Dirty Soap, which focused on the personal lives of soap stars. In June 2013, she and her General Hospital co-star Brandon Barash announced they had secretly married and were expecting their first child in January 2014. Their daughter, Harper Rose Barash, was born on January 7, 2014. The couple filed for divorce in April 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.
1998 was the year I captured everyone’s attention as the leading star of one of Disney Channel Original Movies’ (DCOMs) earliest releases, “Brink!”. Following that success, I could be found almost everywhere – lending my voice to “Recess”, playing John Bryant in “The Princess Diaries”, and starring on the eerie Disney Channel series “So Weird” from 1999 to 2001. I even dipped my toes into the realm of early reality TV, competing on the inaugural celebrity edition of ABC’s “The Mole”. Additionally, I landed roles in short-lived series such as “Dinotopia” and “Complete Savages”. My most recent work was reprising my role as Sid in “Toy Story 3”, a character I had originated in the Pixar franchise back in its 1995 debut.
Nowadays, I am employed in sales at a finance company and share two lovely children with my wife, Angela.
Following his role as Ricky Ullman in the TV series “Phil of the Future” from 2004 to 2006, Raviv started moving towards more mature roles with appearances on shows like “Big Love” and “House,” using his real name for the first time in a 2006 episode. This was followed by a regular role on the Lifetime comedy “Rita Rocks” from 2008 to 2009. More recently, he has been seen in an episode of “Broad City” in 2015 and as a recurring character in the web series “Strangers” in 2018. From 2012 to 2018, he featured in several stage shows and was also the drummer for Zoe Kravitz’s band Lolawolf from 2013 to 2014.
In 2022, Raviv revealed to TopMob News that he had just finished working in San Francisco where he directed an opera at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
1999 marked a pivotal point in my life as I soared to fame, portraying the young enchantress Marnie Piper in the cherished DCOM “Halloweentown,” alongside the illustrious Debbie Reynolds. The movie’s success led to three sequels, but an unusual choice was made to recast me in 2006’s “Return to Halloweentown,” swapping me for Sara Paxton. It’s no wonder that the fourth film is often criticized as being less popular within the series.
My acting ventures beyond the franchise have been relatively scarce, with roles in the 2005 film “Be Cool” and a few episodes of AMC’s short-lived “Low Winter Sun” in 2013 being among the most significant. I also graced the screens of “General Hospital” for 15 episodes in 2021 and close to 50 episodes of “Guiding Light.”
Post-graduation, I embarked on a business degree and subsequently established an Etsy shop called CraftilyCreative, where I offer a diverse range of items, including Halloweentown-themed merchandise. In 2016, I collaborated with Diane Yslas to create a Halloween-themed children’s book titled “Poppin’s Pumpkin Patch Parade.”
Disney enthusiasts were thrilled when I fell in love with my costar Daniel Kountz, and we tied the knot in April 2024.
Between the years 2006 and 2011, Mitchel Musso played the role of Oliver Oken, a close friend of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) on the show “Hannah Montana”. As the series was nearing its end, he had a thriving career with Disney, securing a lead part in new series “Pair of Kings” and hosting “PrankStars”. However, his career took a turn for the worse when he was charged with underage DUI suspicion on October 17, 2011, at the age of 20. This led to his removal from “Pair of Kings” and the cancellation of his prank show. Subsequently, he focused on independent films and providing voice work for the Disney XD series “Milo Murphy’s Law”.
In 2023, Musso was apprehended in Texas for public intoxication and theft.
Though Jason Earles portrayed Miley Stewart’s older brother Jackson on the show Hannah Montana initially when his character was written as a high school student in season one, it is important to note that he was actually 29 years old when the series premiered and had turned 34 by its conclusion. Following this, Earles moved on to star on Disney XD’s comedy Kickin’ It, where he played Rudy, a character better suited to his actual age for four seasons until the show ended in March 2015. Since 2018, he has been featured on Brat series Hotel Du Loone, available on YouTube, and also joined the cast of the third season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. In August 2017, Earles tied the knot with his girlfriend Katie Drysen.
After playing the character Cory Baxter on That’s So Raven from 2003 to 2007, Kyle Massey went on to star in his own spinoff show, Cory in the House, which ran until 2008. Subsequently, he appeared recurringly on The Electric Company and made guest appearances on Gotham, Being Mary Jane, and other shows. He also lent his voice to animated series like Fish Hooks, Mighty Magiswords, and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Kyle Massey also competed in season 11 of Dancing With the Stars and participated in a 2017 episode of Celebrity Family Feud alongside Jennie Garth.
Rumors surfaced in 2018 that he would join the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings, but these proved to be false. In 2021, Kyle Massey was charged with a felony for alleged immoral communication with a minor girl. His lawyer issued a statement saying, “It is unfortunate that Kyle Massey learned through the media yesterday that the 2019 allegations have resurfaced in the State of Washington a year after their dismissal.” The actor claims that the allegations are extortive.
The attorney added, “Massey intends to aggressively defend these accusations again and will seek civil damages from those who refuse to hear the facts. We plan to seek an early dismissal—finally putting these extortive attempts to rest.
From 2000 to 2003, A.J. Trauth played Twitty on Even Stevens and Josh Mankey in Kim Possible episodes. Later, he appeared as a guest star in numerous shows such as 7th Heaven, House, Ghost Whisperer, CSI, Bones, and others until 2012. Since then, he’s acted in several independent films and provided voiceovers for video games like Wolfenstein: The New Order (2014) and its sequel, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (2017). In February 2014, he got engaged to actress Leah Pipes, whom he had been dating for nearly three years. They married that December but eventually separated by 2019.
As the beloved Ren Stevens on Even Stevens, the spirited Kim Possible, and the sidekick to Hilary Duff’s Cadet Kelly in Cadet Kelly, my journey took an exciting turn when I graced the stage of Broadway for a 31-week run as Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 2004. Fast forward to 2008, I found myself back on the theater district’s stage with the company of Avenue Q.
In 2007, I penned a novel titled Grace’s Turn, and in 2016, I stepped behind the camera to direct a feature film, Christmas All Over Again. My educational journey culminated with earning a degree in Film Studies from Barnard College. On December 31, 2013, I tied the knot with writer-producer Brendan Rooney. We’re blessed with two beautiful daughters, our youngest arriving in February 2019.
I revisited the network that catapulted me into stardom in 2019, taking on a role in the live-action Kim Possible film as Poppy Blu. In May 2019, I shared my struggles coming out of my days as a network darling in a heartfelt essay for Teen Vogue. “My life was anything but perfect or polished as my career success during my young adulthood might suggest,” I confessed. “During a challenging period, I battled depression, substance abuse, and sought solutions to alleviate the feelings that overwhelmed me.
In 1999, Brandon Baker first appeared in a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) titled “Johnny Tsunami,” playing the main character. Following this, he had occasional roles on shows such as “Even Stevens,” “Boston Public,” and “The Unit,” while also studying at UC Santa Barbara.
In 2007, Baker reprised his role in the sequel to the movie that launched his Disney career, titled “Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board.” Since then, he has acted in two independent films – “The Formula,” which featured “Family Matters” star Reginald VelJohnson, and “Up on the Wooftop,” in which “Saved By the Bell’s” Dennis Haskins portrayed Santa Claus.
In the year 2001, Alana Austin played the lead role in the Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) titled “Motocrossed.” She portrayed Andrea “Andi” Carson, a teenage girl who adored motocross but was forbidden from participating. After her twin brother got injured before a significant race, she secretly took his place.
After the movie’s release, Austin appeared in several guest roles on shows such as “7th Heaven,” “Boston Public,” and “Cold Case.” However, she decided to step away from acting entirely in 2006. It was reported that she studied medicine at USC. In response to a fan’s question on Twitter in April 2016, she disclosed that she was focusing on writing. She also mentioned that acting held a special place in her heart.
As the lucky actress who found a steady gig in “Phil of the Future,” I, Kay Panabaker, became quite the regular on the Disney Channel. I graced the small screen in DCOMs like “Life is Ruff” and “Read It and Weep,” sharing the limelight with my older sister, Danielle Panabaker. In 2006, I even participated in the first ever Disney Channel Games!
Moving forward, I dipped my toes into more mature roles, such as the 2009 remake of “Fame” and the 2011 ABC series “No Ordinary Family.” However, by 2012, I decided to hang up my acting shoes. Instead, I pursued my passion for the animal kingdom by studying zoology at UCLA. By 2016, you could find me working as an animal keeper – ironically enough – at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
