Nippon Columbia has unveiled the game titled “Sumikko Communication: Create Your Own Sumikko Island” (translated as “Sumikko Gurashi Tsukurou! Suteki-na Sumikko Shima”) for Nintendo Switch. The game is set to release this winter in Japan at a price of 5,800 yen, which will be 6,380 yen including tax.
Here is an overview of the game, via Nippon Columbia:
Build a Marvelous Island With the Sumikko
Collaborate with the Sumikkos on a secluded island to develop a charming haven. As you cater to the Sumikkos’ needs, you’ll collect resources to construct structures and ornaments, cultivate and harvest fruits and vegetables, and take pleasure in crafting your unique island paradise alongside the Sumikkos.
Build a Cozy Island Suited to the Seasons
On this island, each season brings a unique transformation in both landscapes and resources. Given the Sumikkos’ affection for the shifting seasons, our goal is to craft a snug haven that delights them by strategically distributing seasonal structures and adornments across the island.
Watch the Sumikko’s Island Life and Relax
On the island, the charming little creatures known as Sumikko will frolic on swings, savor dumplings while appreciating flowers, and exhibit a range of endearing actions influenced by their surroundings. You can capture these moments with photographs for your personal album, allowing you to relive these heartwarming scenes whenever you wish.
A Wealth of Objects and Costumes
The game offers an abundance of charming, customizable objects including structures and ornaments for placement. Additionally, each character boasts multiple outfit options, allowing you to style your Sumikko characters as desired and appreciate their cute transformations in various appealing outfits.
