◇ In Version 5.8, the following area in Natlan will become available: Easybreeze Holiday Resort.

Once you’ve finished the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III titled “Song of the Dragon and Freedom,” a special Teleport location will become accessible near Natlan’s Easybreeze Holiday Resort. If you’ve already completed this Archon Quest, the Teleport location will be made available following the update. Additionally, upon activation, you’ll receive your Primogem reward for this Teleport spot.

In addition, there will be new Fishing Points and “Radiant Spincrystals” in Natlan.

II. New Character

5-Star Character “Boom Boom Thunderwave” Ineffa (Electro)

Ineffa serves as an Electro support character, offering protective barriers to her team members and enabling them to activate Lunar-Charged reactions.

Whenever Innefa triggers her special ability, she sets up the Optical Flow Shield Barrier and consistently assaults adversaries by summoning “Birgitta.

In simpler terms, when Ineffa unleashes her Elemental Burst, it propels Birgitta forward, causing area-effect Electro damage to surrounding enemies and ensuring Birgitta remains in play.

III. New Equipment

New Weapon (Examples based on Refinement Rank 1)

Fractured Halo (5-Star Polearm)

When an Elemental Skill or Burst is employed, attack power rises by 24% over a period of 20 seconds. If the character using this bonus also establishes a shield during this time, they will receive the Electrifying Edict effect for the same duration: nearby teammates deal 40% more Lunar-Charged damage during this period.

Obtain the unique, top-tier weapon called “Fractured Halo” (a type of polearm) through the Event Wish. For more information on how to get it specifically, consult the appropriate event announcements.

Flame-Forged Insight (4-Star Claymore)

When Electro-Charge, Lunar-Charge, or Bloom abilities activate, you’ll regain 12 Elemental Energy and boost your Elemental Mastery by 60 for 15 seconds. This effect can be activated once every 15 seconds, regardless of whether the character using the equipment is on or off the field.

You can exchange the item “Flame-Forged Insight (Claymore)” and its refinement materials in the event titled “Sunspray Summer Resort.

IV. New Outfits

Yelan – “Tranquil Banquet”

…The attire that Yelan has chosen for her vacation. It’s both stylish and tidy, evoking a relaxed vibe, but also subtly suggesting a hidden assertiveness…

Starting from September 8th, 2025 at 3:59 AM, with the Version 5.8 update, Yelan’s “Tranquil Banquet” outfit will go on sale in the Character Outfit Shop at a reduced price! During this promotional period, you can buy the outfit for 1,350 Genesis Crystals. Once the promotion ends, the price will increase to 1,680 Genesis Crystals. Please note that you can only purchase this outfit once.

Bennett – “Adventures in Blazing Hue”

◇ I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement when donning Bennett’s travel gear for his adventures in Natlan. The vibrant hues of lakewater blue and blazing orange make these clothes truly stand out, radiating a lively energy that mirrors the spirit of the land where they are worn.

In the upcoming Version 5.8, you can securely acquire Bennett’s unique outfit “Adventures in Blazing Hue” at no cost by joining the time-limited “Sunspray Summer Resort” event.

V. New Main Story

1. New Archon Quest

Quests will be unlocked after the “Sunspray Summer Resort” event phase begins.

Once the story concludes, the “Sunspray Summer Resort” Quest will transform into a perpetual one. Eligible travelers may take up this quest at the “Easybreeze Holiday Resort” located within Natlan.

3. New World Quest

New World Quests

This is a person who is the last remaining member from the ancient city of Tenochtitlan (now Mexico City).
2. Enchanted Paititi: This refers to the magical or mystical qualities associated with the lost Incan city of Paititi.
3. Remnants of Chroma: These are small pieces or traces that remain of something called Chroma, possibly referring to a painting, mural, or artifact.
4. Keep Shining, Pipilpan Statue!: This is an encouragement for the statue of Pipilpan (an ancient icon from El Salvador) to continue glowing or shining brightly.

To be known as ‘The Lone Survivor of Tenochtzitoc’, you must progress through various stages of the ‘Sunspray Summer Resort’ quest line. On a different note, unlock the secrets of ‘Dreamy Paititi’ by completing similar steps.

VI. Elemental Reaction

Lunar-Charged

As a fervent fan, I’d rephrase it this way: When Electro interacts with Hydro under specific circumstances, an extraordinary Lunar-charged reaction takes place, leading to the formation of a thundercloud overhead. This thundercloud periodically discharges bolts of lightning towards nearby enemies that are influenced by both Electro and Hydro, inflicting Electro damage.

In this situation, the Damage-Dealing Mechanism (DMG) could potentially cause Critical Hits, and the amount of damage inflicted depends on all characters who’ve used elements during their response or reaction.

VII. Genius Invokation TCG

Genius Invokation TCG Gameplay Update

Introducing new character cards: Lan Yan and Shikanoin Heizou, along with their respective Talent cards. The Player List now includes invitations for a duel featuring these characters and guest challenge events.

IX. Spiral Abyss

After the Version 5.8 update, Phase 1 of the Spiral Abyss will be updated on August 16.

Boost the maximum level of Tona’s Flame up to 50. Once Tona’s Flame reaches its peak level, Pyro Sigils can be swapped with Siyah at Natlan’s Saurian Relics Exchange.

Repertoire of Myriad Melodies Update:

Adds new music album “Natlan: Plains of Flowing Flames.”

Adds new score themes “Blazing Sunfire Scours the Gloom” and “Eternal Dreams of Serenity.”

Adds new instrument “Leaping Spirit Piano” that can be purchased from the Djembe Studios.

〓Adjustments & Optimizations〓

● Enemies

Expand the battlefield space around the Enemy Lava Dragon Statue in the open world, so as to minimize accidental disengagements from combat.

Addresses a problem that arises when, in specific situations, Skirk is unable to acquire Serpent’s Subtlety following the purification of the Totem Poles during the “Lord of Eroded Primal Fire” challenge. This issue will now be resolved.

● Quests

In specific adventures, the Traveler’s Trial Artifact collection has been revised to align more accurately with the intended growth of attributes.

● Map

On the Map screen, a sidebar will show characters who can help you find the unique delicacies of each region.

● Enhancement

When you can access Forgery or Mastery domains and use the Training Guide or a material’s origin to teleport, interacting with the domain entrance will automatically trigger the related challenge. To illustrate, if you enter the “Philosophies of Contention” domain using the previously mentioned methods, it will instantly activate the Mastery stages that reward Teachings of Contention, Philosophies of Contention, or Guide to Contention.

Alter the prerequisites for accessing Ley Line Outcrops in regions other than Mondstadt and Liyue: Previously, each region required a specific Adventure Rank. Now, you can unlock them by reaching Adventure Rank 18 and activating at least one Statue of The Seven within the relevant region. This change may affect the list of available Ley Line Outcrop regions in the “Enemies” section of your Adventurer Handbook.

From Version 5.7 onwards, the Talent Demo screen under Character > Talents and the Test Run phase will showcase video demonstrations.

Streamlines the mathematical procedures governing Character Experience Points (EXP) materials and Moras within the “Character Leveling Strategy” segment of the Training Manual.

Once you’ve retrieved a Crystal Core from the Crystalfly Trap, the device won’t move anymore; it has been permanently positioned.

From the new version onwards, the Crystalfly Trap will recall the materials utilized at its activation. When it’s activated again, it will automatically choose those materials for you.

With Oculus Resonance Stone, you can now recycle it after a cool-down period to switch targets among multiple Oculi within the same region. If there’s more than one Oculus to choose from, you may do so. Keep in mind that the Oculus you previously abandoned will have its marking priority reduced to the lowest.

Pressing “Blossom of Revelation Revitalization Reward” within the “Source” section of Hero’s Wit or Adventurer’s Experience instantly highlights the “Ley Line Outcrop: Blossom of Revelation” on the “Adventurer Handbook > Enemies” tab.

In an update to the description for the Mora item, more information has been provided. By choosing “Blossom of Wealth Revitalization Reward”, you’ll not only select it but also the Ley Line Outcrop: Blossom of Wealth on the “Adventurer Handbook > Enemies” tab automatically.

● Time Interface

In simpler terms, if your current task involves time constraints, that time will now be visible in the Paimon Menu’s Time section. Furthermore, by clicking on the quest objective or pressing the shortcut key V (which can be changed), you’ll immediately open the Time menu and it will automatically highlight the appropriate time for your task.

● Other Interfaces

Adds audio settings shortcut to the dialogue interface.

In the Artifacts section of the Inventory, once you activate the option to arrange 5-star Artifacts by the date they were acquired, the Artifact Enhancement Materials will remain visible and won’t be concealed anymore.

When you look at a 5-star item in your Character Menu, if that item has a prominent main attribute and at least five emphasized secondary attributes (including improved minor attributes), it will show a distinctive symbol. You can enable or disable this feature in Settings under Other.

Organizes the presentation of Trounce Domains within the Adventurer Handbook’s interface, placing domains that can be quickly challenged or have already been unlocked at the top, in order from most recently updated to least. Previously, domains eligible for Quick Challenge but not yet unlocked were shown towards the bottom of the list.

Following the latest update, I’ll be able to share and swap my Genesis Crystals seamlessly across PlayStation® and other platforms. These crystals will appear collectively in my inventory, giving me the freedom to utilize them interchangeably without any platform-based restrictions. Any leftover Genesis Crystals that were recharged prior to the update on both PlayStation® and other systems will be combined into a unified total.

Following the update, “Gnostic Hymn” or “Gnostic Chorus” on PlayStation® will now synchronize cross-platform, enabling rewards earned on one platform to be claimed on others and vice versa. Previously isolated, these platforms will now share their unlocked rewards with each other.

In my gaming world, I’ve found a solution for an odd glitch that sometimes brings back the deployment progress of the Thunderthorn Ward fleetingly after it’s been fully charged through attacks, following its destruction on the Battle-Hardened Tent Tortoise or Local Legend: Cocijo. Now, it should disappear permanently once it’s been fully activated!

Addresses a problem that sometimes causes the adversary “Tenebrous Papilla” to display irregular behavior when confronted by characters, particularly in certain areas of the open world.

Addresses a problem that sometimes causes the “Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel” character in Co-Op Mode to display irregular actions.

Addresses and rectifies specific text discrepancies within the “Archon Quests” section of the “Travel Log,” specifically for the quest titled “Paralogism.

Addresses an issue that causes the cursor to vanish upon closing specific side panels within the Map interface, when utilizing a controller.

Adjusts a problem that occurred during the second strike of Dahlia’s Normal Attack, causing some blur distortion effects to appear in the wrong place.

Adjusts a problem that causes some characters’ Nightsoul’s Blessing trailing effects to stretch unusually when switching characters.

Resolves a strange visual problem occurring on mobile devices regarding the lighting effect within the Knights of Favonius headquarters office.

Alters the limit for activations of the “Kachina’s Talent – Night Realm’s Gift: Heart of Unity” in a single round, reducing it from 2 to 1.

Modifies the Damage of the Elemental Skill for the Character Card “Kinich”: Changes Dendro damage output from 2 to 1.

Alters the Dendro Dice expense for the Talent Card “Marcotte Sillage” associated with the Character Card “Emilie”. The new Dendro Dice cost is now set at 2, increasing from the original 1.

Reduces the Pyro Dice cost for the Talent Card “All Reprisals and Arrears, Mine to Bear” on the Character Card “Arlecchino” from 2 to 1.

Changes the Cryo Damage dealt by the “Frost Operative” Character Card from 4 to 5.

We’re modifying the cost of Cryo Dice for the Talent Card “Mamaloaco’s Frigid Rain” associated with the Character Card “Citlali”. Instead of costing 1 Cryo Dice, it now costs 2.

Alters the Elemental Dice requirement and outcome for the Event Card “Edict of Absolution”: Now requires using 1 die of the same element instead of zero. The new effect is as follows: It heals the targeted character by restoring 2 HP. The targeted character becomes immune to Frozen, Stun, Petrification, and abilities that prohibit skill usage for the next two rounds. Additionally, if this character is currently active, they cannot be replaced by other effects during these two rounds. This immunity lasts for a duration of 2 Rounds.
