Super Mario Bros. Wonder Switch 2 Edition, Pokémon Pokopia Treehouse Live Announced for February 24

While a full Nintendo Direct isn’t happening right now, Nintendo is offering the next best thing: a Nintendo Treehouse: Live stream on February 24th at 2 PM Pacific Time. The stream will focus on two upcoming games: Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park and Pokémon Pokopia.

So why should you care about this event? Treehouse: Live streams are all about actually playing the games, and they go into much more detail than typical Nintendo Direct presentations. This upcoming stream will be around 80 minutes long, giving you a really thorough look at both games – perfect if you’re still deciding whether to buy them.

Pokémon Pokopia arrives on March 5th for Switch 2 and offers a fresh take on the Pokémon formula. Instead of a typical trainer, you play as a Ditto who can transform into a human and builds friendships with other Pokémon. The game focuses on life-sim elements like crafting and farming, all set across diverse environments. Expect a story that takes 20-40 hours to complete, with more content planned for release after launch.

The new version of Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Nintendo Switch 2, available March 26th, builds on the popular 2023 game. It includes a brand-new single-player adventure where you play as the Koopalings to collect Bellabel Flowers, a helpful Assist Mode, and Bellabel Park – a collection of fun multiplayer activities.
