
The 2023 release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie was a huge success, earning over a billion dollars thanks to years of anticipation for a good Mario film. A sequel was quickly confirmed, and now, less than a month away from its release on April 1st, we’re getting a first look at The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with the release of its final trailer.
Nintendo recently unveiled a new trailer during their Nintendo Direct presentation, leading up to “MAR10 Day” – the annual celebration of Mario on March 10th. A key highlight from the presentation was confirmation that Mario and Luigi will appear together throughout the entire movie, responding to feedback that the first film didn’t feature them together enough. The latest trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and a recent Nintendo Direct presentation revealed more of the talented voice cast. A big surprise is Donald Glover voicing Yoshi! Plus, Luiz Guzman will be the voice of Wart, a classic villain making a comeback after many years. And Issa Rae will voice Honey Queen, a popular character from the Super Mario Galaxy game, who will also appear in the film.
