Supergirl Action Figures Reveal Best Look at Lobo’s Bike (And It Looks Fantastic)

The latest trailer for the Supergirl movie really highlights what Kara is trying to achieve, and it also gives fans a better understanding of how the character Lobo will fit into the story. Lobo wasn’t part of the original comic book, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, but he’ll play a significant role in the film, along with his iconic motorcycle, the Spacehog. While we’ve glimpsed the Spacehog in previous previews, a new line of Supergirl toys has now revealed a complete look at Lobo’s vehicle, and it looks amazing.

McFarlane Toys continues to impress with its DC Multiverse line, and a standout release this year is Lobo’s Spacehog from the Supergirl movie. As shown in the video, the new version of the bike looks fantastic. It has a unique design with a larger rear wheel and a smaller front wheel, plus a distinctive pointed front grill featuring a skull – a classic element of Lobo’s bikes in the comics. The bike also includes a rising plate on top with tall handlebars and the signature rocket engines on either side of the back wheel. You can get a detailed look in the video provided.

Lobos’ Spacehog In Supergirl Is Different From The Comics (But There May Be More To The Design)

As a big fan, I’ve been following Spacehog McFarlane’s work for a while now, and this is actually the second Lobo bike he’s tackled. The first one really leaned into a classic comic book look. Over the years, they’ve changed Lobo’s ride quite a bit, but the core design always stays the same: those huge engines sticking out the back, one on each side of the seat. Then there’s this long piece connecting the main engine to the front, and it all flows right into that signature skull shape. It’s a really cool, consistent look even with the redesigns.

The updated design has a lower, more grounded profile, largely due to its two-wheeled structure. The vehicle features a curved shape, with the central section sloping downwards towards the front grill. Instead of a purely decorative skull, this model has a skull that looks realistically like a human one, secured to the front. The color scheme has also changed dramatically – it’s now almost entirely black with subtle grey highlights, a departure from the previous bright blue and silver.

The Spacehog toy appears mostly black, even though images on the box and in the movie show some bronze or copper coloring. It’s unclear if the box art represents the final product, but since the video and other photos all feature a completely black version, it’s likely that’s how the toy will ultimately look.

We might not have seen the Spacehog’s final form yet. While its current wheeled design works great on land, it could potentially transform into something more like the Spacehog from the comics if Lobo needs to travel to space. That would give us the best of both worlds – a vehicle that’s effective both on the ground and in outer space.

Lobo’s Spacehog is coming out later this year, and the movie Supergirl will be in theaters on June 26, 2026.
