WonderFold Superman Edition Details & Assembly Notes
The WonderFold Superman Edition wagon offers a fun, branded experience with a high-quality W-Series Luxe Pro frame. This upgraded frame features all-terrain wheels, a comfortable faux leather handlebar, and an insulated cooler basket. It’s important to note that the frame arrives without the Superman-themed cover initially. A slightly simpler Pro Elite version is also available, but doesn’t include the upgraded wheels and handlebar. The real excitement comes with the Superman package itself, which includes a cover that prominently displays the iconic “S” shield. You’ll also get a reversible canopy – one side features Superman’s classic red and yellow cape, while the other showcases blue DC comic panels. It’s a well-designed kit that’s both practical and celebrates Superman’s history. WonderFold also offers the Superman Edition kit as an upgrade for owners of existing W-Series wagons.
Check out the design below:
The biggest downside of this kit is that the Superman cover doesn’t come pre-installed. The instructions – both in the box and online – don’t explain how to attach it, which is frustrating. While the special Superman packaging feels luxurious at first, it’s not worth the extra effort needed to get the cover on. Regular WonderFold strollers come with the cover already attached, and installing this one proved to be a long and somewhat difficult process of figuring it out as you go.
Thankfully, putting the rest of it together was easy. Most of the parts simply clicked into place. While attaching the Superman cover took over 30 minutes, getting the wheels and frame pieces assembled only took under 5 minutes.
I found a WonderFold assembly video, but it’s important to know it only shows how to put together the Pro version, and assumes the cover is already on. Just a heads up before you watch!
WonderFold Superman Edition Features and Buyer’s Guide
The WonderFold Superman Edition stroller is fantastic once it’s put together, offering a great experience for both children and the adults pushing it. It’s available with seating for either two or four kids, depending on whether you choose the Pro Luxe or Pro Elite version. We tested the two-seater model for this review.
For kids, the Superman Edition wagon has 2 to 4 built-in seats with safety harnesses for younger children. These seats attach securely to the sides and bottom of the wagon. Each seat is raised, creating storage space underneath, but they can also be easily removed if kids prefer to sit directly on the wagon floor. The wagon also has lots of pockets on the front, sides, and back for toys and snacks. A zippered front opening makes it easy for kids to get in and out. Plus, the adjustable sun shade (with UPF 50+ protection) slides easily along the canopy rails, so both kids and adults can quickly find the perfect angle to block the sun.

I’m really impressed with the Superman Edition! As a parent, I love the big, premium wheels – they make getting around so much easier, even on bumpy roads or when tackling curbs. It’s got a really stylish look with the faux leather handlebar, and honestly, the storage space is a lifesaver. There are built-in pockets and they even include a cooler! It’s super convenient. Plus, the pull strap is a thoughtful touch. WonderFold clearly thought of everything, and they have even more accessories like cup holders and trays if you want to customize it even further. It’s just a fantastic stroller!
The biggest draw of a WonderFold wagon is its capacity – some models can carry up to six children! – and how easily it folds up for storage. Unlike many strollers or wagons, you don’t have to take it apart much, if at all. It lives up to its promises, and the only part we removed when collapsing it was the optional cooler. For parents who have struggled with complicated folding and lost stroller pieces while juggling kids, a WonderFold is a smart purchase.

While this all-in-one design is convenient, it’s slightly less portable, particularly if you don’t have much trunk space. The folded wagon is fairly compact, but the large wheels can make it too tall to fit in smaller cars – and that’s based on our testing with the two-seater version. The four-seater model will likely be even bulkier. Luckily, taking the wheels off is very simple and significantly reduces the wagon’s folded size. However, some people who like the convenience of a single-fold design might not want to have to remove parts.
The WonderFold Superman Edition wagon is a high-end option at $749 for the two-seater and $959 for the four-seater – considerably more expensive than simpler collapsible wagons. However, it’s not just a basic wagon; it’s a very durable, well-made stroller with extra features, all wrapped up in a fun Superman design. For those who want these specific benefits, the price is justified. If you’re looking to save money, the Superman Edition is also available on the Pro Elite model for $649 and $759, but you’ll lose out on features like the larger wheels, leather-look details, and cooler attachment.
Final Thoughts on the WonderFold Superman Edition

The WonderFold Superman Edition stroller wagon is very well-made and durable. If you’re looking for a high-quality, easily portable wagon – especially if you like the DC Comics theme – this W-Series model is a great choice. Putting it together took a little longer than expected (a simple video showing how to attach the frame wrap would help), and it might be tricky to transport in a small car when folded. However, these small issues don’t detract from the overall excellent quality of the product.
