January is almost over, and we haven’t seen many major game releases so far. It’s typical for things to be quieter after the holidays, but Nintendo plans to pick up the pace soon.
Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Direct presentation for January 29th at 9 AM Eastern Time. The presentation, expected to last around 20 minutes, will reveal upcoming games and content for both the Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2.
Nintendo Is Having A Surprise January Direct
It’ll Wrap Up The Month
Nintendo surprised everyone by announcing a new presentation this week dedicated to Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. The game, coming to Switch in 2026, is a social simulation where you live on a tropical island and help out Miis – think of it like Animal Crossing, but with a Tomodachi twist. This is the third installment in the Tomodachi series, which began in 2009, and it’s published directly by Nintendo.
