HBO Max is now the main streaming service for DC Comics movies, but many titles featuring these popular characters still move between different platforms. Recently, HBO Max added several movies, including a well-loved DC film that continues to gain popularity.
As a big movie fan, I was thrilled to see Constantine pop back up on HBO Max at the start of the year! It’s the Keanu Reeves film that first brought the DC/Vertigo character John Constantine to life on the big screen, and honestly, I missed it when it was gone. It’s a good reminder that sometimes, you don’t realize how much you enjoy something until it’s not readily available.
Since returning to HBO Max, Constantine has quickly become one of the platform’s most-watched movies. As of Monday, it ranked as the third most popular film on the service, following only the new release One Battle After Another and Greenland, which has a sequel coming to theaters soon.
What’s New on HBO Max?
At the beginning of January, several titles, including the film Constantine, became available on HBO Max. It wasn’t the only DC movie added either—Halle Berry’s Catwoman also debuted on the streaming service on January 1st. Viewers could also find animated DC content like Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and Teen Titans GO! vs. Teen Titans.
