Survivor’s Kyle Fraser Expecting First Baby With Wife Maggie Fraser

Kyle Fraser is passing down his survival instincts to a special tribe member.

I was so thrilled to hear that Dee Valladares, the winner of Survivor 48 last May, is going to be a mom! She shared the wonderful news that she and her wife, Maggie Fraser, are expecting their first baby. It’s just amazing and I’m so happy for them both!

Kyle, 32, announced on Instagram January 6th that he and Maggie are expecting a baby in May 2026. He shared a picture of them with the sonogram and wrote, “Baby Fraser coming to you in May 2026.”

The couple, who married in September 2024, aren’t the only ones eagerly awaiting their baby’s arrival. Their friends from the show Survivor also shared their excitement online. Dee Valladares wrote a congratulatory message, calling the news “AMAZING!!!”, and Cirie Fields added that she was “so happy” for them.

Kyle’s fellow Survivor contestant, Kamilla Karthigesu, 31, hinted that Kyle and Maggie are getting ready for a potential season of Blood vs. Water 3. This is a reference to the popular Survivor format where players compete against their loved ones.

Soon after the news was shared, Kyle explained how they learned about it.

They were celebrating their first wedding anniversary in a cabin in Kingston, New York, with their two dogs. He shared that his wife, Maggie, wasn’t feeling quite herself during the trip, but didn’t say anything until they returned home to Brooklyn. As soon as they got back, Maggie took a pregnancy test and surprised him with the news.

He added that announcing their pregnancy brought overwhelmingly positive reactions from everyone. He was especially grateful for the incredible support from their family and friends.

Okay, so I’m completely obsessed with everything ‘Survival Island,’ and I just found out Kyle – Kyle! – from the upcoming 50th season is going to be a dad with Maggie! Apparently, they already know if it’s a boy or a girl, but they’re keeping it a secret for now, which is killing me! And the name? Ugh, the suspense is unreal! I NEED to know!

We spent a lot of time brainstorming baby names, particularly after learning the baby’s gender, and we’ve finally settled on one we really like. We’re keeping it a secret until the baby arrives, just to be sure it feels right once we meet them.
