Sydney Sweeney has never, ever been happier to reveal a Euphoria season three detail.
Okay, let me tell you, things are getting spicy on the set of Euphoria! As we wrapped up filming, I let slip a little preview of what’s to come in the next season. When asked to describe it in one word? I said ‘Dildos.’ Yes, you heard that right! Get ready, because season two is going to be even more raw and honest than before – and we’re not shying away from anything.
Speaking with Erin Lim Rhodes from TopMob News at Variety’s Power of Women event in Los Angeles on October 29th, the actress playfully told reporters to ‘hold on to those dildos,’ hinting at emotional scenes to come. She confirmed her character will definitely cry, adding with a laugh, ‘It’s Cassie, what do you expect?’
Sydney became well-known for her role on Euphoria, but she’s getting ready to finish filming the series, as production will wrap up later this week.
“This is actually my last week filming,” she continued. “It’s going to be super bittersweet.”
In addition to Sydney, Zendaya, and Jacob, the series from Sam Levinson will also bring back most of its main cast – including Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, and Alexa Demie – for another season.
Sydney shared that she’s known many of her colleagues for years. She filmed the first episode when she was just 20, and the entire first season when she was 21, so it’s been a unique experience growing up with the character she plays. She especially appreciates being able to work with the same crew and cast for such an extended period, which isn’t common in the industry.
You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about wrapping up this project, and honestly? I’m pretty sure I’m going to be a mess on the last day of filming. I can already picture myself completely falling apart – lots of tears, guaranteed! It’s just hitting me how emotional it’s all going to be.
Despite the break between seasons of Euphoria, Sydney Sweeney has been consistently working. She’s currently promoting her new movie, Christy, in which she plays boxing legend Christy Martin. Sydney felt it was a real honor to portray such a strong and inspiring woman.

She told TopMob News that this person has given her a new perspective on life. She’s gained a better understanding of herself and is now dedicated to helping and giving a voice to those who need it most.
