Sydney Sweeney isn’t interested in anyone but herself—for now.
After rumors connected her to music manager Scooter Braun after her split from fiancé Johnathan Davino, the Euphoria actress clarified her relationship status.
In a recent interview with GQ, Sydney shared that she is currently single and not actively seeking a relationship. She explained that she’s discovered the importance of her close friendships and feels confident and self-sufficient, knowing she’s capable of handling things on her own.
However, the 28-year-old is open to meeting someone immaculate.
She said that if she’s meant to find love, she will. She considers herself a romantic and hopes to find a lifelong partner, but she’s not someone who actively seeks out relationships or enjoys going out constantly.
Sydney is content to wait and won’t be actively seeking out new opportunities, stating, “I won’t be rushing into anything.”
Since focusing on her own life, the actress from White Lotus has been spending time with Scooter Braun, 44. Reports confirmed they were dating after they were seen enjoying a romantic evening together in September, and they’ve since been spotted together at a birthday party in Sydney.
Despite the rumors about a romantic relationship, Sydney generally keeps her private life private and hasn’t commented on the speculation.
She told GQ that keeping her personal life private is essential for her well-being. She feels that constantly sharing everything with the public would leave her with nothing left for herself.
I’m 28 and still learning what I want in life, which means I’ll make mistakes and grow along the way. I think it’s important to be able to do that privately, without feeling the need to constantly share everything.
