
Thomas Kent Carter, famous for playing a character in the 1982 film The Thing, has passed away at the age of 69.
According to TMZ, the actor was found dead at his California home on Friday after he called 911. Authorities haven’t released a cause of death, but they don’t believe there was any wrongdoing. He was best known for playing Nauls in the horror film The Thing, and had been acting since the 1970s.
The actor gained recognition after a memorable appearance in a 1980s film and has since starred in a variety of projects, including Runaway Train, Space Jam, Seems Like Old Times, Domino, and The Sinbad Show. More recently, he appeared in three episodes of The Company You Keep and five episodes of the 2023 series Dave.
