Here is an overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:
About
Two heroes, one destiny.
Experience Tales of Xillia, remastered for the first time ever.
Explore the breathtaking realm of Rieze Maxia, assuming the roles of either Jude Mathis, a determined young scholar from the capital with dreams of becoming a doctor, or Milla Maxwell, an enigmatic figure who travels alongside four mighty spirit allies.
Kicking off their grand adventure in the lively realm of Rieze Maxia, where people and spirits live together in balance, players are given the option to assume the roles of either Milla or Jude at the outset. However, tranquility is being challenged as the kingdom of Rashugal starts employing a baffling, potent artifact that’s sapping the world’s mana, which serves as the foundation of life itself.
With a resolve to end the devastation and reestablish equilibrium, Milla and Jude set off on an adventurous journey to demolish the harmful device and safeguard their realm.
