As the UK prepares to turn the clocks back, longer, darker evenings are ahead – but that also means plenty of time for gaming! Here’s a look at some games to help you pass the time.

With only ten weekends remaining in 2025, I’ve created a list of ten new PS4 and PS5 games I want to play before the new year. At the top of my list is revisiting Crystal Dynamics’ classic PS2 title, Legacy of Kain: Defiance, which became available on PS Plus Premium in September 2025.
