So, here we are kicking off the first WAYP of 2026! The good news is, we’re not trying to fix what isn’t broken. You can still count on the usual Saturday Talking Point – it’s staying exactly how you know and love it.

I haven’t decided what I’m going to play this weekend yet. I’m probably just going to relax and play some online games, like The Finals or ARC Raiders – which usually involves a lot of excitement and yelling!

I haven’t been using my Steam account much recently. I’m planning to finally start playing Tempest Rising – I’ve wanted to try it for a while, and now seems like a good time.

I’m really enjoying the holiday season and want to keep that feeling going, so playing WB Games Montréal’s Batman: Arkham Origins on PlayStation 3 – with its snowy Gotham setting, challenging fights against Black Mask’s assassins, and even a thug dressed as Santa – feels like the perfect way to kick off 2026.
