Taylor Frankie Paul is taking in all the commentary.
Following a reported argument with her former boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in February, the star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives addressed fans who advised her to cut ties with him.
In a TikTok video posted on March 17th, influencer Max Balegde directly addressed Taylor Frankie Paul, telling her to end her relationship with a certain man. He urged her to recognize that they are both bad for each other and that neither of them needs the other in their life.
Taylor, who is starring as the Bachelorette in season 22, appears to be affected by the recent comments. Her only response was a simple, “Heard.”
Before the dating show began airing on March 22nd, police in Draper City, Utah, told People magazine they investigated a possible domestic assault. According to reports, both people involved accused each other of wrongdoing.
The reported incident caused a pause in filming for the fifth season of SLOMW, according to a source who spoke with TopMob News.
Taylor’s colleague, Mikayla Matthews, explained on Instagram that the decision came from all the actresses involved. They all felt uneasy continuing to film given the circumstances.
Taylor, who shares her 23-month-old son Ever with Dakota, recently spoke out about the reported disagreement that happened before the first episode of The Bachelorette aired.
It’s really painful for me to go through this, particularly right now,” she shared in an interview with People on March 17. “The timing is just difficult, and it’s a significant challenge. I’ve never truly been able to enjoy a premiere, and this is just another instance of that. It’s incredibly tough, and it took all my strength to be here today.

This is a really difficult period, and it’s sad,” she said. “I’m definitely having a hard time, but I also feel like I need to keep going. If I don’t, I’ll miss out on great opportunities and won’t be able to enjoy everything we’ve built, especially something amazing that’s on the horizon.” (She shares 8-year-old Indy and 5-year-old Ocean with her ex-husband, Tate Paul.)
Okay, so all this drama is going around, but honestly, Dakota’s team just had to set the record straight. They were like, ‘Listen, Dakota is such a devoted parent, you guys! Their little one is their absolute world!’ It’s so good to hear, because anyone who knows Dakota knows how much they adore being a parent, and it’s just frustrating to see people question that.
His main concern is the well-being of his two-year-old son, Ever,” a representative stated to Entertainment Weekly on March 18. The representative also said he didn’t want to reveal details of the situation himself, as he hopes to maintain a positive relationship with Taylor.
As Taylor and Dakota work through a challenging time, stay tuned for more details on all the relationships featured in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

As a lifestyle observer, I’ve been following Taylor Frankie Paul’s journey, and it’s been quite a rollercoaster. Her relationship with Dakota Mortensen, who is the father of her son Ever born in 2024, started on the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out; the relationship ended because of infidelity on Dakota’s part.
Taylor shared on the second episode of her Hulu series that things were going wonderfully with Dakota after their daughter Ever was born, and she was even thinking about getting engaged. However, she soon discovered he had been dishonest with her the entire time.
Taylor was accused by a woman named Jenna of having a relationship with Dakota, claiming they had been intimate on multiple occasions. Taylor has denied these accusations, stating in a TikTok post from September 2024 that he was faithful.
On the series, Taylor said that Dakota accused Jenna of instigating their affair.
She told the confessional, stressing, “It was him.” He admitted to kissing her on the couch, but then clarified they became intimate there. They continued being intimate in another room as well.”

After her breakup with the founder of Basin Tiling, Taylor is enjoying life and open to finding new love. The mother of three – Indy and Ocean, whom she shares with her former husband, Tate Paul – will be looking for a partner on season 22 of The Bachelorette.
Nonetheless, she and Dakota are committed to developing a successful co-parenting relationship.
Okay, so Taylor finally talked about it, and honestly, it broke my heart but also… made sense? She told TopMob News that they both needed to work on themselves separately because, well, they just couldn’t make it work together. She’s doing everything for their little one right now, which is amazing, but she doesn’t know what the future holds. It’s all about her and her healing journey right now, and honestly, I respect that so much. It’s like she’s finally prioritizing herself, and I’m living for it!
However, things became complicated in early March when reports surfaced about a possible argument between the former couple.
Okay, so I’ve been following everything so closely, and I just saw this report… apparently the police actually confirmed to People magazine that they’re investigating something… a domestic assault, they’re calling it. And get this – it’s not just one person accusing the other! They said allegations are flying back and forth between both of them. It’s just… a mess, honestly, and I’m trying to piece it all together!

Whitney Leavitt married Connor Leavitt in 2016, and he’s become her ideal life partner. Together, they have three children—Sedona, Liam, and Billy—and have worked through challenges while living their lives in the public eye.
For instance, the Dancing With the Stars alum had to shut down rumors about her husband’s sexuality.
In an October 2024 appearance on the Off the Vine podcast, she jokingly asked if she needed to resort to extreme measures to prove things were okay, saying, “Trust me, we’re good. Everything’s fine.”
She explained that he had battled a pornography addiction, something I wasn’t aware of personally. She mentioned a scene where a friend observed his confusion regarding sexuality, and commented on it.
Despite facing challenges, the reality star shared that she and her husband, Connor, are more solid as a couple than ever before. They proved their commitment by renewing their wedding vows in February 2026, celebrating their tenth anniversary.
Conner shared with Brides that they married young and felt their wedding was as much about celebrating their families as it was about their own commitment. They wanted to create a celebration that truly reflected them as a couple, and they felt this was a fun way to do it.

Jen and Zac Affleck, who are married and not related to Ben Affleck despite what people say, have been dealing with breakup rumors ever since their first season together.
A major argument sparked by Jen going to a Chippendales show in Las Vegas was a central part of the first season. Despite the fight, the couple – parents to Nora, Penelope, and Lucas – reconciled, and the Dancing With the Stars contestant later spoke out to support their relationship.
Jen explained to TopMob News in November 2025 that constantly hearing the same rumors was exhausting. She said she’s used to people talking and sharing opinions, but she feels it’s particularly frustrating for him when people don’t understand how hard he’s working and what’s really going on privately.
She and Zac are prioritizing what’s most important and trying to ignore outside distractions, though she admits it’s still a challenge for him.

Jessi and Jordan Ngatikaura have faced challenges in their marriage. After Jessi had an emotional affair with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa, things were difficult for the couple and their children, Jagger and Jovi. However, they’ve since been doing better.
Jessi shared with TopMob News in November 2025 that she and her partner are working on rebuilding their relationship. She explained that relationships aren’t always easy, and after what they’ve been through, it will take time and effort to get things back on track – it won’t be a quick fix.
The reality star, who is also a mother to Peyton from a previous relationship, shared that she and her partner are in therapy. She explained that while they experience challenges like any couple, they’re openly sharing their journey in hopes that others can connect with it and find it relatable because it’s authentic.

Mayci never imagined she’d fall in love with Jacob Neeley. After her boyfriend, Arik Mack, unexpectedly passed away in 2015 while she was 14 weeks pregnant with their son, Hudson, she had braced herself for life as a single mother.
But it all changed when she met Jacob in 2016 at age 21, whom she would marry two years later.
In her memoir, Told You So, Mayci explained that she was hesitant to open up after past experiences, but she and Jacob connected quickly. They stayed friends for a while, and because it wasn’t a romantic relationship, she was comfortable with him getting to know her son.
She explained that Jacob was wonderful with him, and that made him even more appealing. Although she was scared of being hurt again, she admitted she couldn’t ignore her feelings after four months. He was a kind, funny person who made her feel secure.
Mayci and Jacob went on to welcome daughters Harlow in 2021 and Charli in 2025.

Demi Engemann married Bret Engemann in 2021, following her divorce from Blake Corbin the previous year. Their relationship, which was featured on a reality show, gained attention when Whitney gave Demi Fruity Pebbles, leading to discussions about their intimate life becoming a central part of the storyline.
Jessi revealed in a November 2025 Instagram post that her grandfather, Bret, has a shocking habit: he drinks her urine, comparing the taste to dirty soda and drinking it quickly like water. This explained the strange gift he had given her.
Demi and Bret aren’t upset about the past—or a past accident. In December, Demi told Entertainment Tonight that she and Bret have accepted everything and are choosing to laugh about it.
Despite some public discussion about their intimate life, the couple is happily adjusting to life as a blended family. Demi has a daughter named Maude from a previous relationship, and Bret has two sons, Rome and Cole, with Angie Harrington, who is known from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
In June 2024, Demi shared on Instagram how incredibly loving and dedicated her partner is as a father and stepfather to Maude, and how excited she is for them to become parents together. She praised his unwavering commitment to his role as a father, even when facing life’s challenges, saying she’s constantly amazed by him.

Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry have a long history together. They first met in 2015, when Mikayla was 15, and had their son, Beckham, two years later. They married in 2018 and have since welcomed three more children: Haven, Tommie, and Lottie.
Mikayla and Jace are enjoying raising their four children, but Mikayla has expressed a desire to have more kids in the future.
In an interview with People magazine in February 2025, she said that when people ask about having children, she usually replies that she’s always pictured three or four, though she wouldn’t rule out having six. She’s also looking forward to moving to a new house with a large yard, ideally big enough for a lot of kids.
In the ninth episode of the fourth season, Mikayla revealed that she and Jace were separating temporarily because they were having difficulties with their physical relationship.
Mikayla’s marriage suffered as she started to deal with the emotional pain from past sexual abuse and the challenges of her chronic illness, which worsened whenever she felt stressed.
Talking about sex or intimacy is really difficult for me,” she told Jace. “It feels overwhelming because I’m already constantly stressed and on edge. I just don’t have the capacity to deal with it right now.”

Layla Taylor and Clayton Wessel, parents of Oliver and Maxwell, got divorced in 2023. Layla then hinted at a new relationship with Mason McWhorter in July 2025.
Okay, so things were a little tangled with Mason and Layla’s families, honestly. It turns out Mason’s brother, Chase McWhorter, was previously married to Miranda McWhorter, who actually works with Layla! Despite this potentially awkward situation, they were both really committed to making things work and seeing where their connection could go.
Layla shared with Us in November 2025 that she’s not currently thinking about marriage, but she does want to build a deep connection with someone first. She’s happy with how things are going with Mason and would consider marriage only if their relationship evolved in that direction.
Unfortunately, the mom of two confirmed that she and Mason had split in February 2026.
Layla explained that she and her partner were simply heading in different directions, and he needed space to grow as an individual. She understands and accepts his choice, and wishes him all the best.

Miranda joined the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in season two and quickly became central to the widely discussed “soft swinging scandal” involving MomTok. However, despite the controversy with Taylor, Miranda has stated that the situation wasn’t the cause of her 2024 divorce from Chase.
She explained on the Weekly Trash podcast in August 2024 that the reasons for their breakup had been brewing for a long time. While recent events may not have helped, she emphasized they weren’t a factor in the decision to split.
Nonetheless, she and Chase have been committed to parenting their kids Brooks and Cohen.
She thought that coparenting always requires effort. She added that if they’d had a perfect relationship, they likely wouldn’t have gotten divorced.
“The thing with him and I,” she continued, “we’ve always had a pretty good foundation of a friendship prior to even having a romantic relationship. I feel like that’s something that set us up for some level of success when it comes to co-parenting.”
