Taylor Lautner’s Wife Tay Lautner Is Pregnant, Expecting First Baby

Taylor Lautner, known for his role in the Twilight films, revealed on March 26th that he and his wife are expecting a baby. He shared the news with photos of the couple and their sonogram.

Referencing the fact that the expectant parents share a name, he joked on Instagram, “What’s better than one Taylor Lautner? Two!”

Taylor Dome legally changed her name to Taylor Lautner when she married him in 2023. The couple had been dating for five years prior to their marriage.

For the couple, who met through Taylor’s sister, Makena Moore, at a game night in 2018, sharing a name with another person in the house isn’t a problem at all.

Taylor explained on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2022 that people often refer to her as either ‘Taylor’ or ‘Tay,’ and that both ‘boy Tay’ and ‘girl Tay’ are common nicknames.

They playfully referenced Taylor Swift, calling her “blonde girl Tay” when she asked the actor to appear in her “I Can See You” music video in 2023.

Taylor told TopMob News in 2022 that Jennifer Aniston visited her while she was filming the show Cuckoo in London. Aniston excitedly told Taylor, ‘You won’t believe who I sat next to on the plane!’

And just like his Twilight character, Taylor has always wanted to imprint on someone special.

Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay Lautner (born Taylor Dome), publicly announced their relationship on Halloween. The Twilight actor shared a photo of them dressed as characters from Space Jam.

Taylor was introduced to the nurse through his sister, Makena Moore. She told him, “I think I’ve found the woman you’re going to marry – you have to meet her!” Taylor told People magazine that they met soon after, and it was the start of their relationship.

Last year, Taylor shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show how his brother was actually the one who brought him and his partner together.

Taylor told me she loves game nights. Her friend suggested hosting one and inviting Taylor along with some others, saying Taylor would just be another guest and we’d all get to meet. We connected right away.
