Taylor Russell Has the Perfect Reaction to Being Mistaken for Rihanna

Taylor Russell isn’t breakin’ any dishes over being mistaken for Rihanna.

Okay, so you guys won’t believe this! I was hearing about what happened at Paris Fashion Week – apparently, a reporter accidentally thought Taylor Swift was actually someone else, a singer named ‘Diamonds,’ as she was leaving the Dior show. Honestly, I love how Taylor handled it – she was totally unfazed and just went with the flow. It’s a great reminder that even when things get a little mixed up, staying calm and collected is always the best approach!

In a fan-captured video posted to X on January 26th, someone identified Taylor, saying, “That’s Taylor Russell!” Taylor then jokingly responded, “I’m just her little mini-me.”

Okay, so everyone was talking about Rihanna showing up, and honestly, I was living for it! Taylor – you guys remember she dated Harry Styles way back when? – just casually said, “Yeah, I’m excited to see her,” and I swear, I screamed! It was the cutest little moment, and she was clearly so hyped, just like me!

For the event, the actress from Mother Couch chose a white, embroidered dress with a high neckline and flowing fabric around the hips. She completed the look with black pointed-toe heels and styled her hair in an elegant updo.

It’s understandable why the journalist made the mistake. Rihanna has publicly said she’d like actress Deon Taylor to portray her in a potential movie about her life. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are parents to three children: RZA, age 3, Riot, age 2, and Rocky, who is 4 months old.

The 37-year-old told TopMob News last June that he was attracted to her – he liked her appearance and wanted to be with her – and that he wanted her to act like him.

“I want people to see me in that light,” Rihanna emphasized. “Just gorgeous, she’s stunning.”

I was so impressed with how Taylor handled being confused with another artist! But recently, I read about Rihanna and it was a bit different. Apparently, one of her security guards didn’t quite do their job – they let a hotel door close on her as she was leaving! I was shocked to hear about it, and it definitely made headlines.

Rihanna, dressed in a polo shirt, black pants, and white heels, playfully responded to her bodyguard in a video posted on X on January 17th. She jokingly said, “Such a gentleman you are.”
