Frisco King‘s court is expanding.
Taylor Sheridan’s new series is growing its cast and was recently renewed, around the same time as season four of Tulsa King. This new show, called Frisco King, is a spin-off of the Paramount+ crime series starring Sylvester Stallone. It will follow Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman from season three of Tulsa King, as his story continues in Frisco, Texas, with Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role.
According to Deadline, four new actors will join Samuel L. Jackson in the series Frisco King. The new cast members are Asa Germann (known for Scream 7 and The Boys: Gen V), Savanna Gann (who appeared in English Teacher and Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon films), Lilah Pate (from The Summer I Turned Pretty and Outer Banks), and Kai Caster, previously on Yellowstone.
Actor Caster will appear in the new series Spider-Noir on MGM+ and previously played a younger version of Kayce Dutton in Yellowstone season 2. He returned in season 5 for a five-episode role as Rowdy, a ranch hand working at Yellowstone in the 1990s. Taylor Sheridan wrote all eight episodes of the upcoming season.
The series has added another director with experience on Yellowstone. Christina Alexandra Voros, who directed 12 episodes of Yellowstone and received an Emmy nomination for 1883: A Yellowstone Origin Story, will direct the first episode, and at least one more. Michael Friedman, a frequent collaborator with Taylor Sheridan (Lioness, 1883), will also direct several episodes.
