For Taylor Swift, the life of a showgirl includes showing up for your best friends. 

Taylor Swift attended the wedding of her friend Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco on September 27th, just a week before her own new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, came out. Seeing her close friend so happy on her wedding day was especially meaningful to Taylor.

Taylor described Selena as the most beautiful person she’d ever seen, not just as a bride, during an interview on SiriusXM’s *The Morning Mash Up* on October 6th. She added that she was incredibly happy for Selena and that everyone wants that level of happiness for the people they care about.

Taylor became friends with the former star of *Wizards of Waverly Place* when they both dated brothers Joe and Nick Jonas as teenagers. She also shared how happy she is to be in a loving relationship while watching her friends find love too.

I’m in a photo with a group of girls, and several of them actually met their partners shortly after that picture was taken,” the singer explained, referencing her recent engagement to Travis. “Then, I went to perform in Kansas City the very next day, completely unaware that Travis was planning to be in the audience.”

It’s just incredible,” she said. “I’m so thankful he’s in my life, and I love seeing my friends find happiness too.
