Few people understand just how well sex sells better than Farrah Abraham.
In May 2013, a sex tape featuring Farrah Superstar, titled *Farrah Superstar: Back Door Teen Mom*, quickly became popular on Vivid Entertainment’s website, gaining over 2 million views within the first 12 hours. This surpassed the previous record held by Kim Kardashian by more than three times.
It’s a strange distinction for the former *Teen Mom* star, who was dealing with difficult feelings after the loss of her boyfriend, Derek Underwood-the father of her daughter Sophia, who is now 16 and lost him in a car accident in 2008-and the strain in her relationship with her mother, Debra Danielsen.
In an interview with TopMob News, Abraham explained that she was overwhelmed by grief after her daughter’s father passed away, and that this, combined with her diagnosed depression and anxiety, was controlling her life.
I remember when Abraham told me about this – it was shocking. Apparently, her manager, Gina Rodriguez (who was born Gina Delia, by the way), actually *suggested* they make a sex tape, and Abraham went along with it. I was stunned when she shared that with me.
In the September 22nd episode of A&E’s *Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes*, the Nebraska native explained that working with professional adult film actor James Deen helped her feel more secure and less ashamed during the production, which she hoped would bring her intimacy and connection.
Growing up, I didn’t have much support, and I struggled with a difficult relationship with my mother,” Abraham shared. “I felt she wasn’t the parent I needed, and that really affected me.
Abraham claims her former manager realized she was easily upset and exploited her insecurities.
Abraham shared that she joined the docuseries to illustrate how exploitation can be subtle. She explained it’s not always obvious or direct, requiring viewers to really look closely for the signs. Meanwhile, Rodriguez, who wasn’t involved in *Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes*, told *The New York Times* in 2014 that she aims to help her clients become famous, clarifying that they seek her out and have already publicly exposed themselves in some way; she doesn’t exploit them.
Abraham has been in therapy for years, including specialized trauma treatment she hopes to provide for her daughter, Sophia, when she’s older. She’s also completed a program focused on healthy relationships, which has helped her evaluate who she keeps in her life.
After a sex tape of hers became public, Abraham ended her relationship with Rodriguez. Rodriguez, along with her parents, Danielsen and Michael Abraham, also failed an inspection of some kind.
Okay, so I’ve been listening to Abraham, and it *totally* clicked. He was talking about how he used to give all his love hoping someone would protect *him*, but it never happened. It’s like, he realized he kept letting people into his life who just didn’t offer him the safety and security he desperately needed. That’s why he says you won’t see a lot of people from his past around anymore – they just couldn’t provide that safe space he needed to thrive. It’s so insightful, honestly! It makes so much sense why he’s so selective now.
Certainly no one was providing the reality star refuge as word spread that she’d filmed with Deen.
The male performer who recently won AVN’s top award immediately clarified to reporters that his relationship with Abraham was strictly professional, not personal.
Abraham stated that the action made her appear as someone she wasn’t, characterizing it as a deeply disrespectful act by an adult entertainer who she felt didn’t have the authority to speak without permission. She described it as “the most disrespectful, screwed up thing a person could do.” TopMob News has contacted Deen for comment but has not yet received a response.
Despite a difficult situation, she chose to make the best of it and partnered directly with Vivid Entertainment to release the 70-minute tape.
Abraham explained that after someone else took action, she decided to publicly take charge of the situation. This decision, however, led to a lot of negative reactions from men who resented her for preventing a male colleague from receiving a significant financial benefit.
Because, yes, she cashed in with a reported seven-figure deal and then some.
Abraham explained that she initially thought men would resent her success. This motivated her to prove them wrong and demonstrate her ability to earn more money, despite their disapproval. She did this by creating both female and male-themed novelty toy lines, which quickly sold out repeatedly.
Abraham said she enjoyed the opportunity to sell products directly and hopes to do something similar again in the future, perhaps in a different role.
The hottest commodity she’s peddling these days is herself.
Fans have expressed interest in a documentary about her life, and she confirmed they’re currently working on it. She also mentioned her next memoir will cover her entire life story, going beyond just the difficult period of early loss, depression, and becoming a mother, as her previous work focused on.
Her daughter is also at work on a book and potentially a film as well.
Abraham believes Sophia deserves a film about her life, allowing her to tell her own story and share her point of view. He expressed excitement about the possibility of making this happen.
Beyond her many commitments, including homeschooling her teenager and advocating for teen pregnancy prevention, Abraham also earns a substantial income – millions annually – from her OnlyFans account.
Oh my gosh, and it’s not just *her* raking in the cash! I immediately went to the site to see who *else* is being so open about how much they’re earning – seriously, I *need* to know everything about these amazing stars and what they’re worth! I’m obsessed with finding out all the details!
Blac Chyna shut down her OnlyFans account in March 2023, telling viewers on *The Jason Lee Show* that she was making a fresh start. She felt the platform was a dead end and believed she deserved more. However, she also encouraged others who still use OnlyFans to continue earning money, advising them not to let the money change who they are.
Chyna, also known as Angela Renée White, has clarified reports about her earnings on the platform. She told Forbes that claims she made $240 million are actually off by around $238 million, meaning her actual earnings were significantly less.
Blac Chyna revealed to *Forbes* that her business earned almost $2 million in just two years. She started it in 2020, right when the COVID-19 pandemic began, feeling worried about what the future held. Chyna shares her son, King Cairo, with Tyga and her daughter, Dream, with Rob Kardashian.
Rapper Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli) revealed in July 2024 that she had earned $71 million in total on OnlyFans since joining in April 2021, with a profit of $57 million after expenses.
To quote Angela Yee, who reported on the reveal on Way Up, “That is crazy.”
When Annie Knight first started on OnlyFans, she made about $5,000 a month.
After being fired from my previous job for creating content on OnlyFans, I decided to pursue it as a full-time career. By June 2025, I told News.com.au that I was earning around $30,000 a month. That income quickly grew – I surpassed $100,000 per month in May 2023, and soon after reached $200,000 per month, where my earnings have remained consistently for the last two years.
She claimed to have had sex with 583 men in six hours in May 2025, which was physically demanding but increased her monthly income by $400,000.
A month later, Knight told TopMob News the total had reached around $600,000. She decided to keep her monthly subscription price at $14.99, explaining she wanted to ensure it was affordable for everyone.
Lily Phillips, known for attempting to have sex with 100 men in a single day, revealed to TopMob News in January 2025 that she made “millions” from the event, though she insisted money wasn’t her motivation.
She explained that nothing could make her quit. There isn’t a specific achievement or financial target that would cause her to stop working – she doesn’t have a stopping point in mind.
Farrah Abraham, who first appeared on the shows *16 and Pregnant* and *Teen Mom*, has spoken about a difficult experience with pornography in 2013. However, she says that OnlyFans offers a much safer and more profitable environment for her work in adult entertainment.
In a June 2025 episode of Kailyn Lowry’s *Barely Famous* podcast, Abraham revealed she earns millions of dollars annually from her OnlyFans content. She stated, “Millions of dollars a year.”
Jenelle Evans, known from *Teen Mom 2*, started an OnlyFans account in May 2022 with her husband at the time, David Eason.
Evans and her partner officially split in 2024, but her work on OnlyFans proved worthwhile. During a livestream in August 2025, she reportedly showed her friend, Tori Rhyne, how much money she’d earned on the platform. Rhyne looked at Evans’ phone and announced the total: $1,511,578.
Even though Evans disagreed with her friend’s claim that she was a millionaire, Rhyne pointed out, “Don’t forget everything you’ve earned before – this is just a small part of the bigger picture.”
Rapper Lil Tay became even more well-known after a strange rumor circulated in 2023 claiming she had died. Shortly after turning 18 in July 2025, she joined OnlyFans and reportedly earned over $1 million in just three hours.
She responded to criticism in an Instagram video by sharing what she claimed were her earnings: over $511,000 from subscriptions, nearly $487,000 from messages, and over $26,000 in tips. She seemed unbothered by the negativity, saying people could dislike her if they wanted.
“We broke the f–k out of that onlyfans record,” she wrote.
Bella Thorne was among the first celebrities to join OnlyFans, and in August 2020, she became the first creator on the platform to earn over $1 million in a single day, according to OnlyFans.
I’ve been a subscriber to Bella Thorne’s page for a while now, and what I really appreciate is how much more personal it feels compared to her usual social media. She said she wanted it to be a space where she could connect with fans on a deeper level, and she’s definitely achieving that! For $20 a month, you get things like sweet goodnight and good morning voice messages, and she does share photos that are flirty but still tasteful. It’s amazing to see how quickly her subscriber base has grown – she doubled her earnings in just a week!
Renee Gracie, who made history as the first Australian woman to drive full-time in the V8 Supercar series, has left racing to pursue a career creating content on OnlyFans.
She told the magazine *Truly* in May 2024 that she struggled financially during her racing career. She decided to become an OnlyFans model, and within six months, she earned a million Australian dollars and was able to purchase a multi-million dollar home. Her goal is to be fully retired from work by the time she turns 40.
She explained that joining the site completely changed her life. She used to struggle financially, relying on loans and barely making ends meet, but now she feels financially secure and comfortable.
In December 2024, Sophie Rain, a cofounder of the Florida-based content creator group Bop House, expressed her gratitude to her fans for earning $43 million on the platform over the past year. This included a generous $4.3 million contribution from a single dedicated supporter. Her content is intended for mature audiences, but isn’t excessively explicit.
Sophie revealed in an August 2025 discussion with David Dobrik that she’d earned $82 million in just 18 months on the platform – and that was just the start, she said.
“No one believes me,” she said, “but it is very true.”
Bop House’s Camilla Araujo said it, Bonnie Blue didn’t.
Blue, who announced in January 2025 that she had engaged in sexual activity with a record 1,057 men in 12 hours, asked Araujo about her OnlyFans earnings. Araujo replied that she makes about the same amount as Blue-around $2 to $2.1 million in a good month.
As in $2.1 million.
“You may or may not be lyin’, but…,” Blue, who’s real name is Tia Billinger, said.
Araujo replied, “I mean, just the thing, I don’t have to f–k a thousand guys to make that much.”
But, Blue added, “I’ve got a thousand reasons more to enjoy my job.”
Okay, so I was totally watching this video from January 2025, and Araujo – seriously, I’m obsessed – was asking the other Bop House members how much money they’d raked in last month from all their… you know… *content*. It was wild! I mean, they’re all so creative with their stuff, and I was dying to know how much it was paying off for them. I just had to share, it was a peak Bop House moment!
Sophie Rain reported earning $6 million, and her co-founder, Aishah Sofey, made $2.5 million. Other members shared their earnings as well: Alina Rose with $1 million, Julia Filippo with $600,000, and Joy Mei with $100,000.
Filippo shared with Vulture that she earned $600,000 in one month after working on set with Blue, which led many of Blue’s fans to start following her too.
