Teen Mom’s Kayla Sessler Is Pregnant With Baby No. 4

Kayla Sessler is expanding her family once more.

I’m sharing some exciting news – one of the stars from *Teen Mom* just announced she’s expecting her fourth child! This will be her second baby with her boyfriend, Ryan Leigh. She revealed the happy news in a video she posted on social media on September 17th.

The couple’s family is growing! Their 18-month-old son, Zyaire Jaxon Leigh, will have three new siblings. Kayla has a 7-year-old son, Izaiah Cole Alexander, from a previous relationship with Stephan Alexander, and a 6-year-old daughter, Ariah Jordynn Davis, with Luke Davis. Ryan also has a 9-year-old son, Zander Leigh, from a prior relationship.

In a sweet Instagram video, Kayla and Ryan spent a relaxing day at the park and beach with their children. Kayla, who is pregnant, gently held her baby bump. The whole family wore matching white clothes, and at the beach, Kayla shared a glimpse of her ultrasound while Ryan kissed her cheek.

As Kayla’s blended family prepares for another baby, she suggests this may be their last child. In a social media post, she wrote, ‘Our final addition,’ hinting at a complete family.

The MTV show followed Kayla’s experiences as a new mother, showing both the good and the bad moments, including the challenges in her relationship with Luke and his family. Things became even more difficult when Kayla reconnected with her former boyfriend, Ryan, leading to trust problems with Luke.

Just before Kayla and Ryan’s son, Zyaire, was born, Kayla let her followers know that she and Ryan had reached an agreement about co-parenting.

In a January 2024 YouTube video, Kayla explained that Luke and Ryan have a peaceful relationship. While they aren’t close friends, Ryan contacted Luke to express his respect for him as a father and suggested they put their past disagreements behind them. They talked things through and are now on good terms.

For a look at how other Teen Mom couples’ relationships are doing, keep reading.

Fans first met Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra on the first season of *16 and Pregnant* in 2009, when they made the heartbreaking decision to put their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. The couple, who are now married, tied the knot in August 2015 after 13 years together and have since welcomed three more daughters: Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya.

Even though they still miss Carly, who lives with her adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, the couple remain hopeful and continue to work towards a better future.

Catelynn shared with TopMob News in January 2025 that she and Tyler want to respect their daughter’s wishes regarding their relationship. She explained that they’re open to whatever level of connection their daughter desires – whether it’s with her biological siblings, with them as her parents, or none at all. They believe it’s important to prioritize what’s best for her as an adoptee and support her choices.

Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards were still teenagers when they found out they were expecting, and their journey was documented on *16 and Pregnant*. Despite getting engaged, they broke up less than a year after their son, Bentley, was born in 2008, with Maci facing challenges due to Ryan’s lack of responsibility.

Maci and Ryan are currently working on having a healthy co-parenting relationship. In 2023, she told TopMob News they were doing well, and that Ryan was being more reliable than in the past.

Maci met Taylor McKinney in 2012, and they quickly became a team, building a family together. They had their daughter, Jayde, in May 2015, followed by their son, Maverick, a year later. They then got married in Florida in October of the same year.

They’re partners in both life and business, running their fashion brand, TTM Lifestyle. In a 2023 interview with TopMob News, she described him as her soulmate, saying, ‘Even through difficult times, I always choose him. I genuinely like him. I’d rather work through disagreements with him than not have anyone to challenge me at all – even if I sometimes get really frustrated with him!’

Even though they’ve both started dating other people, the stars from the MTV show *The Challenge* are still working together to raise their daughter, Ryder.

From the moment Cory became a part of Ryder’s life, we always discussed the kind of father and parent he wanted to be,” Cheyenne told TopMob News in March 2020. “I didn’t want him to be the type of dad who just focuses on fun outings or social media appearances. I wanted him to be fully committed. I think he understood my expectations from the start, which is why we’re able to co-parent so effectively.

Cheyenne and Zach briefly broke up in 2018, but decided to try dating again. She announced on Instagram, while celebrating her 28th birthday, that they were back together. They later had a son, Ace, in May 2021, and got married in September 2022.

In 2024, Cheyenne told TopMob News that the past two years had been about achieving some big life goals. They welcomed a baby, Ace, got married, and purchased a home – everything they’d been hoping for.

She continued, saying she simply didn’t want to *do* anything – no goals, no striving. She just wanted to relax, be peaceful, and enjoy being with the people around her. That was all she needed – contentment and connection. She didn’t want anything more than that.

I was so excited to hear that Cheyenne is expecting her third baby! She shared the news on an episode of *Teen Mom: The Next Chapter* that aired in May 2025. It was a really sweet moment.

Zach shared with Us Weekly that he and his partner had a lot of back-and-forth about having a baby. He initially wanted one, then she did, but then he changed his mind. Eventually, they both agreed and decided to try.

It might seem unlikely to find love while filming a reality show, but Cory and Taylor Selfridge, who first connected on *Ex on the Beach*, have proven it’s possible. Years later, they’re still together and have two daughters, Mila and Maya.

He told TopMob News in 2023 that he and his partner recently purchased a house. He then acknowledged the public’s curiosity about their wedding plans, saying they’ve discussed it extensively. He explained they’re only missing the ring and a formal proposal, and that both he and his partner want to get married, with plans progressing steadily.

Shortly after marrying Mackenzie Standifer in May 2017, Ryan entered rehab. Their son, Jagger, was born in 2018 while Ryan was still receiving treatment.

Mackenzie and her husband welcomed their daughter, Stella, in January 2020, but she filed for divorce three years after that.

Ryan and Amanda Conner are engaged and expecting their first child, a daughter named Presley, in February 2025.

Despite a very public and difficult breakup in 2013, the couple successfully co-parented their daughter, Leah, who is now a teenager, for several years.

Amber explained to TopMob News in January 2022 that while they enjoy spending time together, they maintain some space in the relationship. She described it as a strong family unit, prioritizing that connection above all else.

Families often have disagreements, and Amber and Gary are no exception. They’ve publicly aired their issues in recent years, with Amber using social media to share claims about Gary. Her strained relationship with Leah has also been featured on the show Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

After being engaged for a few years and even trying to work through their issues on the reality show *Marriage Boot Camp*, Amber and Matt Baier, who moved to Boston, ended their engagement in 2017.

Amber explained on Dr. Drew Pinsky’s podcast that she and her partner reached a breaking point where they stopped truly listening to each other. She realized she’d emotionally checked out of the relationship, and built up defenses to avoid getting hurt again.

Amber found love while filming *Marriage Boot Camp* with a crew member named Andrew Glennon. They first appeared as a couple at the 2017 MTV Movie Awards, and in May 2018, they welcomed their son, James.

Amber and Andrew separated shortly after Amber’s arrest for domestic battery in July 2019. Following a difficult legal dispute, Andrew, who is from California, was granted full legal and primary custody of their son in 2022.

The reality TV star shared with TopMob News that she’s been working hard on personal growth and strengthening her bond with her kids. She explained that while she’s always been open about her history with addiction and mental health challenges, everyone deserves a chance to move forward and not be defined by past mistakes.

She was resolute, stating that even if life hasn’t been easy, anyone who’s worked to improve themselves and become a stronger, kinder person should keep going – just as she intends to do. Her biggest motivation, she emphasized, is her unwavering love for her children, and she’ll always fight for them.

Amber met Dimitri Garcia online, and he first appeared on *Teen Mom OG* in April 2020. Amber described him on the show as a handsome man from Belgium, ten years her senior at 39. They began talking and eventually decided to meet in person because they were both interested in each other.

During the April 2021 *Teen Mom OG* reunion, Amber shared that she was still with Dimitri, though they hadn’t seen each other in a year despite having known each other for 18 months. While they never officially broke up, Amber later introduced Gary Wayt as her new partner on a June 2024 episode of *Teen Mom: The Next Chapter*.

Amber met Gary 2.0 on a dating app in the fall of 2023, and he quickly became more involved after she introduced him to her fellow cast members during an online conversation.

Although Gary proposed in May 2024, their engagement didn’t last long. During a trip to North Carolina for her brother’s wedding in June, Gary left unexpectedly after an argument, and Amber filed a missing person report.

And while Gary was soon located, the duo’s engagment wasn’t the only thing left broken.

Amber shared on *Teen Mom: The Next Chapter* that she went through the incredibly difficult experience of believing her fiancé had died for several days. She described grieving and struggling to understand why anyone would intentionally cause her such pain, adding that she’s currently facing a very challenging time.

She explained, “He really hurt me. I was doing well, and for the first time in years, I feel completely off-balance, and it’s all because I got engaged.”

Gary and Kristina Anderson married in a lovely beach ceremony after welcoming their daughter, Emilee, in April 2015.

In a 2022 Instagram post, Gary shared how much he appreciates someone, calling them a beautiful soul and saying he couldn’t manage life without their support.

I was so saddened to learn about the father of Farrah Abraham’s daughter, Sophia. He tragically passed away in an accident just two months before Sophia was born in December 2008. It’s a really heartbreaking story, and I always think about it when I see them together.

After losing her high school boyfriend, Farrah’s first significant relationship was with real estate agent Simon Saran. They dated on and off for more than two years.

Their breakup in 2017 was really messy, even involving legal letters, but they did attempt to stay on good terms, at least a little.

Simon explained to TopMob News that he wasn’t angry with Farrah, but that they simply lived very different lifestyles. He felt she preferred a superficial life, while he valued authenticity. He expressed his good wishes for her future success.

Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis, parents of Jace, separated shortly after he was born in 2009, and Jenelle wasn’t very involved in raising him.

Jenelle explained on *Teen Mom 2* that she felt conflicted because it involved Jace’s father. However, she didn’t want him to repeatedly enter and leave Jace’s life, potentially causing disappointment.

Jenelle has had a complex family life. She was married to Courtland Rogers for a year and had a child, Kaiser, with her former fiancé, Nathan Griffin, in 2014. Later, in September 2017, she married David Eason on their property in North Carolina, eight months after the birth of their daughter, Ensley.

Following a difficult period where David faced a misdemeanor charge of child abuse concerning Jace – which Jenelle believed was a false attack – she announced that they had split up.

She said she would have gotten divorced immediately if North Carolina law hadn’t required a year of legal separation, and proof of living at two different addresses.

Their divorce was finalized in July 2025.

Do you remember the guy who asked Chelsea Houska when he could finalize the paperwork to deal with their child? He referred to their child as a ‘mistake’.

Completely in the rearview.

Despite their history, Teen Mom star and HGTV personality Chelsea Houska has a surprisingly good relationship with her high school ex, Adam Lind, who is the father of her oldest daughter, Aubree. She told Us Weekly that they have an open and positive connection with no lingering negativity, and they’re able to see each other without any issues.

Chelsea and Cole DeBoer’s love story started with a sweet encounter at a gas station in 2014, and they married in October 2016. They later welcomed their son, Watson, in 2017, followed by their daughters Layne in 2018 and Walker in 2021. Now, the couple is sharing their life and design skills with viewers on their HGTV show, *Down Home Fab*.

Chelsea said she wanted to return to television with a show that was fun, positive, and allowed her and her family to be themselves. She felt this new opportunity was a perfect fit, explaining it was a ‘cool’ way to achieve that.

Chelsea shared with TopMob in June 2025 that many of her friends feel finished having children, but she isn’t sure if she’ll ever feel the same way.

Leah Messer and Corey Simms tried to make their friendship into a lasting marriage, but the parents of twins Aleeah and Aliannah divorced just six months after they wed in October 2010.

Corey has been married to Miranda Patterson since 2013.

Leah married Jeremy Calvert, who works as a pipeliner, in 2012. They had a daughter, Adalynn, in 2013.

Okay, so they broke up way back in 2015, which was devastating, honestly. But they *try* to be good parents to their little girl, though it’s not always smooth sailing, you know? Sometimes it seems to work really well, and other times…well, let’s just say it’s complicated, and I follow everything closely!

Leah shared with TopMob News that watching her daughters grow is like seeing a fuller, happier version of herself. She finds immense joy in supporting their passions and being involved in their lives, describing it as a truly magical experience. She especially loves being a mom to girls.

Leah and her daughters were already fans of Jaylan Mobley, a United States Army officer, when they publicly announced their relationship on Instagram in 2021.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2022, but broke up that October.

Looking back, I really needed that split,” the *Teen Mom* star told TopMob News a year later. “I’ve grown a lot since then, and I truly feel like a new chapter in my life is starting.”

Kailyn Lowry became a mom at 17 when she and her high school boyfriend, Jo Rivera, had their first son, Isaac, in 2010.

Despite ending their relationship after a year, Kailyn and Jo have established a successful co-parenting relationship. They even co-hosted the podcast *Baby Mamas No Drama* for several years, with Jo’s wife, Vee Torres. Kailyn shared on X (formerly Twitter) after attending Jo and Vee’s wedding in 2018, “We’ve both grown a lot since we were 18, and I couldn’t ask for a better stepmom for Isaac.”

Kailyn’s son, Lincoln, was born in November 2013, about a year after she married Javi Marroquin. Kailyn was a star on *Teen Mom 2* at the time.

After separating in late 2016, the former couple has experienced a somewhat difficult relationship as they’ve both continued their lives.

Kailyn Lowry began dating Elijah Scott, while Javi Marroquin married Lauren Comeau in a small ceremony on Vero Beach, Florida, in April 2025. Lauren shared on Instagram that only Javi’s father, their children Eli and Maizee, and their pastor were present. They plan to have a larger reception with family and friends this summer. Lauren explained that everyone was supportive, Javi’s mother had already been involved in their sons’ lives, and they wanted a special, intimate experience for their family, including having her father walk her down the aisle.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I nearly DIED when I saw the announcement! After their perfect beach wedding in June 2025, Javi and his wife revealed they’re expecting baby number three! Javi posted the sweetest thing on Instagram in August – he called the baby the *best* honeymoon souvenir! He’s so grateful to be parents again and said she’s the strongest woman he knows, and they’re both so lucky. Seriously, they are the cutest! I’m already obsessed with this new little one!

Kailyn and Chris Lopez, who had a complicated relationship, share two sons, Lux and Creed, but ultimately ended their romance.

She told TopMob News in 2020 that they weren’t speaking at all. While she’s hopeful things will improve eventually, she doesn’t foresee a specific resolution. She doesn’t harbor any ill will and simply wants the best outcome for their children, however that may look.

Kailyn felt she’d found a solid relationship with her partner, Elijah, a construction worker. She told *People* magazine that he was different from her previous partners and the fathers of her other children. While his job is physically demanding-he works with concrete and isn’t afraid to get dirty-he’s also very family-oriented. He’s close to his own family and deeply connected with hers, making him a great partner and a good fit for her. Elijah is the father of her son, Rio, and twins, Verse and Valley.

A strong enough one that she finally said yes to one of his many proposals, in fact.

Kailyn told TopMob News in September 2024 that her now-partner, who was originally a neighbor, proposed to her multiple times. She explained that she never rejected him, but always responded with, ‘Yes, but later.’

Ultimately, though, the timing wasn’t right, Kailyn revealing in July 2025 that they had split.

She explained on the *Give them Lala* podcast that she receives criticism for ending relationships with her children’s fathers. She clarified that she left those relationships because she doesn’t tolerate mistreatment.

Jade Cline, from Indiana, and Sean Austin have faced challenges since their daughter, Kloie, was born in 2017, but in January 2022, Jade hinted to her fans that things were improving for them.

She told TopMob News that they’d experienced significant positive changes in their lives, especially for Sean and his future. She expressed how proud she was of him and of where they were as a couple. They announced their engagement eight months later and were married in October 2023.

Jade admitted in 2024 that her relationship isn’t flawless, but emphasized that she and her partner share a strong love and are committed to making things work, according to TopMob News.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to hear about love stories! It feels so intimate when couples choose a private ceremony. That’s exactly what Ashley Jones and Bar Smith did – they quietly tied the knot in 2021. Interestingly, they actually became parents four years earlier, welcoming their adorable daughter, Holly, into the world. It just goes to show, every couple has their own beautiful timeline!

But after calling off their romance several times, Ashley officially filed for divorce in 2024.

Briana DeJesus, who first appeared on *16 and Pregnant*, and her daughter Nova’s father, Devoin Austin II, briefly considered getting back together years after their daughter was born in 2011.

You know, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately, and honestly, I’m ready for a real man. For a long time, I dated guys who just weren’t quite there, and I’m finally realizing I need someone more mature and grounded. I’m done with the ‘boys’ and ready for a man who knows who he is.

Briana first appeared on *Teen Mom 3* for one season. She then joined the cast of *Teen Mom 2* starting with season eight and welcomed her second daughter, Stella, with her ex-boyfriend, Luis Miguel, in July 2017.

Luis hasn’t been consistently involved in Briana’s life. As Briana shared with Dr. Drew in a December 2019 episode of *Teen Mom 2*, she believes Luis wants to start a family with her, and because she’s not ready for that right now, he’s chosen to distance himself completely.
