Panda Khan Makes His Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures Debut

After a tough fight with some powerful witches, Panda Khan (also called Li Yang) ends up in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ world. He asks for their help to get back home and also to defeat a pair of villainous spider witches, Twixt and Tween, sending them back where they belong. While he’s in New York, he’s also planning to enjoy the city’s famous pizza!
Erik Burnham is writing this issue, with Sarah Myer providing the artwork and Luis Antonio Delgado handling colors. The covers will be done by Sarah Myer (Cover A), Dave Garcia and Mickey Clausen (Cover B), and Jonathan Miller (Cover C). Plus, Steve Lavigne and Ryan Brown have created an extra cover. You can read the official description below.
A powerful warrior from another world has unexpectedly arrived on Earth! Forget who you think it is – it’s Panda Khan! He crash-lands in New York City after outsmarting a group of evil sorceresses. Now, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles must team up with him to battle the creepy spider witches, Twixt and Tween, and help him find a way back home. This action-packed adventure, spanning twenty pages, will reveal if they succeed – and if Panda Khan can bring a little ‘panda-monium’ to the city!

Panda Khan originated in the Mirage Studios comics, created by Monica Sharp and Dave Garcia. He then became part of the popular Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line, even though he wasn’t featured in the original TV show. Over the years, Panda Khan has appeared in many comics and even teamed up with another beloved TMNT character, Usagi Yojimbo.
Panda Khan is back in the world of action figures thanks to NECA, who released a detailed 7-inch figure with extra heads, accessories like a backpack and weapon, a hat, and interchangeable hands. Now, he’s also appearing in comic books, and fans are hoping this could lead to him being featured in a movie or TV show, completing a satisfying return for the character.
The next issue of *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures*, number 37, will be available in comic stores in May 2026. You can reserve your copy now by pre-ordering it at your local comic book store.
