Tell Me Lies stars react to major season 3 twist: “It’s going to be a very complicated thing to watch”

The popular, dramatic series Tell Me Lies has returned, promising another season full of unexpected turns and shocking revelations.

This week’s episode, titled “Fix Me Up, Girl,” delivered a major surprise: a romantic connection is developing between Bree (Catherine Missal) and Wrigley (Spencer House) in the 2015 storyline.

Pippa (Sonia Mena) and Wrigley have become closer this season, with Pippa starting to distance herself from her previous relationship. We didn’t expect this to lead to a romantic connection, but it seems that’s where the story is heading.

Fans will be shocked by this unexpected pairing, and even the show’s stars, Grace Van Patten and Jackson White, didn’t predict it would happen.

White said: “No! I love it.”

Van Patten was also stunned by the unexpected turn of events. He explained, “I get it, and honestly, after enjoying the first two seasons so much, I’ve really grown to love those characters – and I know the fans do too.”

Watching these characters fall in love will be messy, since they’re both making mistakes. Yet, you also feel like they belong together, which creates a really confusing and conflicted emotional experience.

But White remarked about the pair: “They’re cute.”

At the end of episode 4, viewers like Stephen White noticed a meaningful look between Bree and Wrigley as Bree began her first dance with her groom, Evan (Branden Cook).

As the newlyweds celebrated, Bree and Wrigley exchanged a look that suggested their friendship was actually something more. It was clear there was a deeper connection between them than anyone realized.

Everyone at the wedding missed it, but Stephen was the only one who realized the connection – and that’s likely to cause problems. Anyone who watches Tell Me Lies knows that Stephen will definitely use any information he has against people when he gets the chance.

Now that Stephen has seen Bree and Wrigley, what’s his ultimate plan, and why is he focusing his attention on Bree specifically?

White explained that the character always has a strategy and a long-term goal. He’s a very thoughtful person who always plans ahead. What makes the show compelling is seeing these heartwarming moments and the development of new relationships, which are enjoyable for viewers.

Simply tilting the camera reveals everything, even to someone who’d want to find fault – and that’s the key, the most important part.

Season three picks up after a dramatic season finale where Stephen revealed that Evan and Lucy had a past relationship. Everyone expected a huge reaction from Bree when she heard the news on her wedding day, but she remained surprisingly calm. Now, we’re learning the reason behind her unexpected response.

Honestly, I have no idea what Stephen has planned for Bree and Wrigley, and that’s part of the fun! We’ll just have to be patient and find out as the story unfolds – I’m really excited to see what happens!
