I was so hyped when GPTRACK50 revealed Stupid Never Dies at The Game Awards 2025! It’s a super-fast action RPG, and honestly, the gameplay looked absolutely wild – in a really good way, of course. It’s easy to forget about announcements sometimes, but this one really stuck with me.
The game, led by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, appears to be incredibly chaotic based on its newest gameplay trailer.
This game is likely to be pretty divisive. While some players will really enjoy its bright, energetic style, fast pace, and wild battles, those same choices are bound to frustrate others.
It looks like a really enjoyable game! You play as a zombie trying to save his frozen girlfriend, and you have a huge range of abilities to use. The combat, with lots of enemies on screen, is particularly satisfying – it’s similar to the ‘musou’ style of action games.
It has a similar vibe to games made by Suda51, which we really enjoy, but it won’t appeal to all players.
The game will be released on PS5 later this year. Are you excited about playing Stupid Never Dies? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
