Bitmap Bureau has delayed its game, Terminator 2D: No Fate, for the third time in six months. Originally planned for release in September, it was first moved to October to allow for further development, then to November 26th, and now it will launch on December 12th.
What’s causing the latest delay? Previously, the holdup was due to tariffs affecting the physical copies of the side-scrolling game, and the team wanted to release them at the same time as the digital version. Now, Reef Entertainment says they have all the physical game components, but they need time to put everything together.
We know life can be tough, and you’re understandably frustrated with the ongoing delays. We sincerely apologize for making you wait, and we truly appreciate your patience. We’re committed to delivering the game you deserve, and we’re very close to finally releasing it.
We really appreciate your continued support and are so excited for you to play Terminator 2D: No Fate! Hopefully, the third attempt will be the one you’ve been waiting for.
I’m seriously hyped for Terminator 2D: No Fate! It’s coming to pretty much everything – Xbox One, Series X/S, PlayStation 4 & 5, PC, and even Switch. What’s got me really excited is that it’s a retro 2D shooter based on Terminator 2: Judgment Day. And get this – your choices actually change the story! Apparently, you can even see the T-1000 take out those cops at Cyberdyne Systems if you make the wrong decisions. It’s a whole new take on a classic!
