Terry Crews and Rebecca King-Crews have the tools for an everlasting love.
Terry Crews, the host of *America’s Got Talent*, and his wife recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary and shared the secrets to their long and happy marriage.
Terry shared with TopMob News on October 4th, while at the Sense of Home gala with Rebecca, that love isn’t just a feeling—it’s something you improve with effort. Many people think love happens automatically, but Terry believes you can actually become better at loving, and they’ve experienced that in their own relationship.
Rebecca, who shares five children – Naomi (36), Azriél (34), Tera (26), Winnie (22), and Isaiah (20) – with her ex-husband Terry, says she and her current husband have relied on a single word to get them through good times and bad.
She shared her key to lasting relationships: forgiveness. “It’s essential to let go of grudges,” she explained. “Holding onto resentment creates a barrier between people, and often, after years, that leads to a breakup. People might initially admire the relationship, but unresolved issues can eventually cause it to fall apart.”
She explained that resolving conflicts requires open communication, finding solutions together, and offering apologies. Once someone apologizes, it’s important to forgive and move on.
Terry, 57, and Rebecca, 59, not only focus on their marriage, but they’ve also thought about growing their family by adopting a child.
Rebecca explained that she and her husband, Terry, have always been passionate about helping children in foster care. They’ve consistently hoped to adopt, and while they’re getting older, their love for children—particularly those who need a stable home—remains strong.
Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca, have always been open about sharing their life with the public. He’s given fans a glimpse into their relationship, starting from when they met at Western Michigan University in 1988, through their wedding, and all the way to raising their five children.
The *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* actor celebrated their anniversary with a sweet Instagram post on July 29th, writing, “36 years and just getting started!!” They tagged their partner, @rebeccakingcrews, in the message.
