A demo for the updated version of the classic PlayStation 1 game, Front Mission 3, is now available for download on the PS Store. You can get it here.
You have around a month to try out the game and learn how it works before it officially launches on January 30th. It’s already been released on the Nintendo Switch and available for a few months now.
Here’s how publisher Forever Entertainment, who’s publishing the remake, describes it:
The popular tactical RPG, Front Mission 3, is back with a complete remake! Play as Kazuki and Ryogo in a story set amidst growing military conflicts. Take control of powerful, giant robots called Wanzers and command your team in challenging turn-based battles where the fate of the region is at stake.

So, the first two Front Mission remakes were already out, and now this completes the whole original PlayStation trilogy – awesome!
Two more Front Mission games were released on the PlayStation 2, and it’s possible those could be remade as well. After that, the series shifted in a surprising direction with the action game Front Mission Evolved and the loosely connected title, Left Alive.
