New display and redstone options arrive in Bedrock Preview!
Mojang has introduced thrilling new elements specifically designed for builders and redstone enthusiasts in Minecraft. You now have the opportunity to experiment with the Copper Golem Statue and Shelf Block within the game. These features are already accessible through the Bedrock Preview and Beta, and they’re expected to be rolled out soon in Java Snapshots.
Copper Golem Statue in Minecraft
Instead of transforming into a statue upon full oxidation being a constant duty for the copper golem, it now has an additional function. Once fully oxidized, this golem will assume one of four fixed stances and let go of any item it is holding.
Interacting with this statue allows you to change its posture. Each posture emits a distinct redstone signal once linked to a comparator. This feature makes the copper golem statue handy for redstone conundrums, hidden doors, and personalized exhibits.
To make your golem functional once more, remove the layer of tarnish, and it will start moving again. Alternatively, you can polish the golem to ensure its longevity. Regardless of whether they are organizing items or posing, copper golems exhibit contentment in their roles.
Shelf Block in Minecraft
The Shelf Block provides an innovative method for arranging and displaying your items. Each shelf can accommodate up to three stacked items, allowing you to easily swap out or reorganize them by engaging with the block.
This device is fantastic for storing and exchanging visual items or tools during different tasks, plus it includes a unique redstone feature.
When powered:
- All three items swap at once.
- Connected shelves facing the same way will link.
- You can swap large sets of items with a single click.
This block serves a dual purpose, being both aesthetically pleasing and useful. It caters to various interests such as décor, organization, or even engineering, by introducing something novel.
