Teyana Taylor is sending Amy Madigan one gift after another following the 2026 Oscars.
The star of One Battle After Another showed there are no hard feelings towards the Hollywood veteran she lost the Best Supporting Actress award to at the Conan O’Brien-hosted ceremony on March 15th, sending her a generous collection of gifts. In a recent Instagram Story posted on March 17th, Teyana Taylor showed off her own merchandise. She was wearing Nike Air Jordans from her Concrete Rose line and posing with golden gardening tools and a bouquet of over a dozen red roses.
Teyana, 35, shared why she’s a devoted supporter of this woman, explaining that her kindness and generosity are truly remarkable, both publicly and privately.
Calling Amy “my lady,” she added, “You deserve your flowers & good kicks! Congrats!”
Teyana was quick to celebrate Amy’s win at the ceremony. As soon as Amy was announced as the winner, Teyana excitedly jumped to her feet.
When people online criticized Teyana, claiming she was upset about Amy winning an Oscar after a long wait – Amy’s first nomination was in 1986 for Twice in a Lifetime and she finally won – Teyana immediately denied the accusations.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) from March 16th, she observed that people experiencing a lot of hardship often lose sight of joy. She added that they become accustomed to feeling defeated, and genuine displays of good sportsmanship actually disturb them – comparing it to the effect of holy water on a demon.
Teyana explained that celebrating others’ success is difficult because many haven’t learned how to win or lose with kindness and composure. It takes grace to be happy for someone else, and also to accept defeat with dignity and a positive attitude.
